I think that's the most upbeat Warney interview I've seen... UTM!

Sending Lamy out to AFC Wimbledon could be good news all round. It will hopefully give the lad vital game time and also if he is as good as Gwru says, he will terrorise Fleetwood, Ipswich, Sunderland and Coventry who all have to go to Wimbledon.

whiston01 I'm abit baffled regards Lamy. Paul Davies tizer says we are unlikely to see Lamy in a Roth U shirt again. Manager is talking like he'll be back. His contract ends just after the end of the season.

He's only 20 so surely we would have an option to sign him for another year. I hope he goes to Wimbledon and does well and its a three/four year deal we offer him.

Lamy made it clear on his Twitter account he wants to play regularly. Fair enough, but we obviously dont think he is ready to. Loan out seems a fair solution. We need players who want to be here. He will have been offered to clubs. With the greatest respect, Wimbledon being his best option shows where his development is at. You probably wouldn't expect Warne to say hes gone for good. You never really know, and we dont know the terms of the deal. Despite what gwru saw in the 85 second highlights from Peterborough, he looks what he is - a very raw talent. I think weve done good business. We havent lost any players who were likely to feature in the run-in, and have got a highly rated defender and a versatile forward who is dropping down a division to play. Adelakun was also a good addition. We leave January in a much better position than we were in when we started it. Some of our rivals like Oxford and Peterborough have lost star players today. Onwards and hopefully upwards.

If as is being suggested we have an option to extend Lamys contract a loan out makes perfect sense.

Good business done this January and no messing around last minute. Well done the club.

All the best to Lamy that’s a very good loan move for him, think he’s got something hope we see him back with us.

Sorry to see Lamy go out on loan hope he can help Wimbledon take some points of our rivals. Wish him well I can understand him wanting first team football.

OK - you're in charge for the January transfer window and you've got no budget. So you have to sell to be able to afford new players but you can return loanees to be replaced by other loanees. What'ya gonna do?

For me - return Barlaser and Morris. Bring in two powerful replacements in same positions.

Sell Vassell. Invest in a midfield general.

Job done.

What a difference a month and a half can make. Barlaser is now the first name on the team sheet! Pleased Morris moved on - I don't think we've missed him in the slightest. I'm still not convinced by Vassell - no doubting his ability in front of goal but his lack of close control and poor distribution will be costly if we move up to the Championship.

Scott and PW deserve great credit for their business during this transfer window. Shipping out Lamy and Hinds - absolutely the correct decisions. Getting Palmer off the payroll - spot on. Hastie's return to Rangers - a bonus. Yates' loan extension to Swindon - best for all concerned.

Adelakun is a fabulous prospect who we're lucky to have for the rest of the season. Tilt was the best CB in League One until he fell out with Blackpool. He gives us much needed cover and he's a great investment in terms of future value. . Don't know much about Koroma but by all accounts he'll add to our already potent wide threat.

We're lucky to have a Chairman who knows how to keep a football club solvent and talented coaches and scouts who can make the most of the money available. Hasn't always been the case at RUFC!

Onwards and upwards!

Like you I had Barlaser in my leavers with McDonald and Morris; he's really flourished now and might end up player of the season! Good job PW is in charge and not me...

It has been a very good January, the club have worked with PW and improved the squad. I was sad to see Morris go as the lad is a good player but we have to be balanced and Rob Scott has shown he is the best appointment that TS has made in recent years.

GlennMiller Koroma hope it works, want it to. Adelakun he's same as Vassell to me a nearly player. I don't rate Ladapo at all so hoping Koroma can step up. We've still got Clarke & McDonald who will be happy to pick a wage up but bring nothing to the side. Lamy he was just coming through don't know why he's gone, can't work it out. He can even cross on the left with his left foot. On right wing against Donny in that micky mouse cup he put best cross I've seen all season one touch to the outside in with his right foot straight on Morris's head who managed to head it straight at their keeper. Natural talent but Warney I don't know what he wants. Same with Lindsay he can play in the championship but he plays Crooks instead who we know can't. Know we are top of the league but I haven't seen a good side at the New York all season. I reckon if Koroma works out we are in pole position automatic promotion but I'm thinking championship next season.

You're like a dog with a bone gwru. Lamy is a juvenile who needs to develop as a footballer and a man - hence his loan. Nowhere near ready to start in a League game - and that's based on seeing him in more than just a Poundshop kickabout! Crooks is MoM on most occasions he plays. Well capable of Championship football. What has Lindsay 's personal problems taken out of him? No, I don't know either but PW does and he will judge when he's ready to start a game. For a supporter of the best team in League One, you really are a miserable sod! (In my opinion!).

GlennMiller I'm not miserable. I know what I've seen. In this league we are getting away with it. Lamy he's a solid unit he's not a kid. You need to play him with your better players to progress him. He'll hardly progress at Wimbledon they aren't up to much he can't do it on his own. I can't have Adelakun. I hate all right foot playing on the left.
