As well as Coughlan as manager what about Guy Branston as his side kick I'm cooking with gas.

Don't want someone as volatile or unproven as Branston. Coughlan says he's taking his assistant Joe Dunne with him.

Ticked another league ground off yesterday , and i won't be going back in a hurry. The 400 miles round trip is not something i recommend.

This was a poor game with very little quality on show from either team. We had a very young four man midfield up against a five man midfield. We were the better side in the first half and got an own goal from a corner. Hard to tell from where i was what happened. In the second half they got two goals early. One a penalty and one a punt over the top with Olosunde badly out of position imo. He is struggling with his positioning and it really needs Jones back fit, especially in the away games. We hit back quickly with Hastie hitting the bar and them failing to clear it away. Ladapo was in the right position to sweep it in from close range.

There were some positives. Ladapo looked sharp and if we can get the ball in quickly to his feet, he appears to have the ability to turn people and get a shot in. He now has eleven goals and looks a good signing providing we don't expect him to win the ball in the air and be a lone target man. Barlaser and Wiles did ok in central midfield and although outnumbered at times stuck to the task. The defence needs a leader and the sooner we can get Wood back fit the better. I know he is not everybody's cup of tea but his lack of pace is not as much of a problem in this league. Robertson also lacks pace and doesn't have the leaders skill of Wood. I agree with all the posters who say we need a midfield general. I liked the lad from Rochdale. A young Irish born lad who i think is called Camp. He would fit the bill.

The result put us in the top six. Time to sack the manager then surely.

The Rochdale lad is Callum Camps. He might cost a few quid, but i do believe he is out of contract next summer.

Thanks for the report Whiston, and I agree with all you say about needing Jones and Wood back, and we need to buy or loan cover in those areas in January.

My daughter says I'm getting like Victor Meldrew with my constant complaining about referees, but there is no way on earth that was a pen, it simply hit Ogbene whilst he was running, and we would have NEVER been given it in a million years.... I do not believe it!!!

having just checked all our results, there have only been 4 games where Wood and Jones played together, we won 3 and lost one (Wycombe) with that combo - that supports the view we need both fit and playing, although as its only 4 games, not conclusive.

Totally disagree about Wood & Jones. That shows how bad Warney's management incl' recruitment is if we've got to rely on two has beens. It's two cosy here Wood on about he wants to carry on playing. I don't want to see that here. There's no excitement here now. Warney dug his own grave with his signings. Crooks too slow. McDonald another has been. Morris, Vassell nothing there. Clarke I've said like Taylor lack of height. Mattock he's like Smith looks like he's been to the well too often. I've just said I'd be gazumping Coughlan's move to Mansfield. We only got up two years ago cause we had Ajayi & Vaulks. Money we got for them should have been alot better replacements got in.

Did I get this right against Rochdale Morris & Vassell were next to useless. Morris showed dissent when he was taken off but still got on yesterday. Weak management.

Reason our defence looks so bad midfield it's got no strength in it. Also wingers unless they are going to take the game to the opposition there isn't a tackle in them. Only way our wingers will be effective is with Lamy on the right, Ogbene on the left.

Yes I noticed the dissent from morris but how many other players have liked been subbed. I understand morris frustration been played out of position due to lack of alternatives on the left wing due to injuries and our manager recruitment policy. Our weak points.as I see it are up front i agree with gwru about vassell who has done what since he came to us nothing!!! Smith needs service in the box and to be.playing with two up.front Midfield Again need strengthing with a holding midfielder. And we need to.either start using hinds as left back which.warne won't

Hillsborough we are on the same lines. Warney he's got to change. If he can't change he's got to go.

We are 6th so unlikely Tony will fire bullet if we were 6th from bottom might be different story. Warne had made mistakes in recruitment MacDonald and vassell. We are a young team but when the first choice players are injured we don't have the quality in cover

Hillsborough this league is that bad I don't see 6th successful especially after funds we got after the Ajayi Vaulks sales.

I presume you were at Southend yesterday Hillsborough and you have seen Hinds play recently. I thought Mattock played ok yesterday so i think he deserves to start in the next game. I cannot comment on Hinds as i have only seen him in a couple of meaningless cup games. I have seen him in training though and imo he has long way to go yet to be a division one defender. His time will come but the last thing he wants is to be rushed into first team football. Cooper is the same and he has gone out on loan. I think that might be best for Hinds as well.

I haven't watched/won't from yesterday. Warney's Roth U bores the sh*t out me. I want to believe but can't under this management team. Be there next Saturday whatever.

No i didn't go, want i.meant for clarity is if mattock is injured then try hinds there instead of Robertson. Warne needs to give our youngsters a goal.

Ok Hillsborough i see what you are saying. However, i think you have to put a little more faith in Warne and his team. He has put Robertson and Jones at left back in Mattocks absence. Both did well. That to me indicates Hinds is not quite ready yet. I still favouring him having a spell with another club as his best option.
