Apparently ticket sales for this game are very poor. There is time yet, but it looks like we might do well to half fill the ground.

I mentioned earlier in the thread that someone I know had emailed the club with feedback about the pricing. They had a response from Paul Douglas by telephone, along the lines that the club thought about and discussed long and hard whether or not to go with the lower price/more bodies policy and that it was a close call. Apparently Mr Douglas was very candid and personable and grateful for the feedback, which is all good.

I still think they got it wrong, but there we go.

I've been informed that Hull City supporters have been allocated 500 tickets. Another rumour doing the rounds is that there may be more tickets available for Hull supporters who wish to pay on the day of the match. And still the West Stand remains closed. There will be a few unhappy supporters if RUFC decide to open up the West Stand on match day thus denying ST holders the opportunity to sit in their own seats. Watch the West Stand on Saturday. You can't make it up.

I've got ST in SW stand. Got a ticket for tomorrow in E3 family stand. Hope late on they don't open West stand. If they did & you wanted to change back there'd be some queue at the ticket office.

Who are the real supporters on here I like some of you have been messed about and I have moaned about it. As I have been told we are 2nd in the league with the mighty Warney in charge why aren't you going. You find out the real diehards I know the FA cup has lost it's appeal but the millers are playing I can't wait for the kick off tomorrow UTM. If we got through and we got Liverpool at home you would all want a ticket to me I go to watch my team.

What a ridiculous post.  So many questions.  Here are a few..

Who isn't going?  What is your inside info?  Do you think that everybody can make 12.31 on a Saturday?  Do you think everyone can afford it?  Does not going for any reason make you a bad or non-supporter?  Does paying to go to every home game give you some sort of moral high ground?  Have you got your ticket for Oxford yet?

I agree with TH people get their ST think club owes them something. smiler what a stupid comment have you got your ticket for Oxford yet! Then your saying it's too early tomorrow, can't afford it but what time are they setting off to Oxford next week costing more than tomorrow incl' travel. Sheffield clubs are right our fans are toytown don't deserve Tony Stewart.

What's the big issue about having to announce on here if you're going to the Hull game? For some of us, going to games is a given and requires no grand announcement.

I announced I was going to the Hull game cause on principle I wasn't going to go cause I couldn't have my seat in the west stand. Then I thought the clubs right ST holders in the west stand lucky if half go. Back the club at home always. I will.

Some people might have to work on a Saturday. Some people might not have enough money after Christmas/New Year and two home games in quick succession, particularly if they pay for children or others as well. Some people might live a long way away and have to pick and choose their matches. Some might stay away as an objection to the pricing and/or ticketing decisions. These are all perfectly valid reasons not to go to tomorrow's match or any other match. Yet THMiller thinks he has some moral high ground because he can go and chooses to go to every home game and used to pass a bucket round at DVS. Its a pathetic point to make and more significantly as Glenn suggests, it is pathetic that he or she feels the need to make it in order to try and score a point or more likely wind others up. Some people go to every home game and most if not all away games. Does that make their opinion more valid than his or hers or make them better supporters than THMiller? Not necessarily, but according to his or her own criteria, apparently it does. In short, its the usual garbage posting from one of the usual suspects.
