After Monday don't want to see Barlaser Vassell Morris starting. Same Robertson at left back with a groin strain or Mattock whose half fit whose pulled no trees up this season. Let's go for the jugular. Iversen Olosunde Icky Robertson Hinds Ogbene Lindsay Wiles Crooks Ladapo Smith. Lamy 1st change out wide.

We could win 9-0 & you'd still find something to moan about.

He'd prefer us to lose 9-0 though.

I tend to agree with gwru we need a bit of width in the team plus a decent holding midfielder. Apart from the Coventry match Bolton to easy home games have been poor. We have got a few home games coming up until the end of the year I just want to see an improvement so that we can go into the new year thinking we have a chance of getting into the top six.

You mean remain in the top 6 I assume TH Miller? Yes I agree, we need to try and stamp our authority on the game early, and then go for the jugular, but let's get behind the team and give them more vocal support at the game.

Got me wrong I want us to be in the top two of this league. I can't see why not. Couple of additions in January who can come straight in the 1st team I can't see nothing to be frightened of in this league. Starting today a more positive team selection hopefully.

If we were to maintain our home form so far over the next four home games we will not be in the top six simples. I hope we will win them all.

I thought we lacked desire again at home, we just do not work as hard as these teams do at NYS, at least Warne tried to change the game. Smith is fighting for his place in the team and for 45 mins he was hopeless. As for set pieces when will we learn to keep the ball away from the keeper??? We play wingers and yet we take too long to get the ball to them, allowing defenders to close them down, the passes to them are too often behind them. This team needs an experienced central midfield general to control the game and spread the ball about quicker, Wiles and Lyndsey are good players but we need some experience in there.

Only good thing today was the xmas tree lights on the way out. If you don't get the summer transfer window right you are left wanting. Old pals act doesn't help. Mattock he's had a terrible season. Crooks should have gone off at HT not Lindsay. Morris & Vassell what do they bring to the side? Home games are the games to bring players through such as Hinds & Lamy. Warney's men on here tell me positives today?

To me.the issue is the tactics and formation ladapo is not a lone striker and crooks isn't fit enough to play behind him We have two wingers ogbene and hastie but he never starts them together. We have to play two up front with both wingers. Get the crosses in to Smith and.ladapo We play too narrow.against the lower teams who sit back. The other conumdrum is the set plays. We seem absolutley crap at these lately and today was a great example. Another one was Warne and his secret weapon vassell what does Warne see in this player. He was brought in to score goals and these number in competitive play a grand total of zero YES ZERO. Warne needs fresh blood in Jan to replace the dead wood of Barlaser vassell

I have said it before so I'll say it again, right now we are a slightly above average L1 team but with a few additions either in January or next summer we could become a good L1 team. We need a LB desperately as I don't think Mattock has been even 70% fit all season, the same could be said for Robertson. We also need an enforcer/organiser in midfield as like him or not we're missing Vaulks this season. We also need to give Ogbene & Hastie a run of starts in order to regularly supply crosses.
Poor today, about as poor as we have been all season. Key players like Wiles, Crooks & Ladapo had off days, as did most of the others. Dale weren't better than us but they were stronger, better organised & certainly wanted it more.
Yes it was disappointing as every defeat is but the social media meltdown both on here, facebook & twitter is truly astonishing, as is the ground emptying on 85 minutes. The sense of entitlement that we should be promoted is akin to those numpties from S6. We are a L1 club in the top half of the table, we might not (gasp) go up, what a disaster THAT would be eh? Not going to NYS & getting battered every week. Perspective guys. Wonder what sort of conversation they're having on Southend's forum ATM? We're there next week so they might cheer up.

Lack of character, playing in second gear and a fear of losing.

New manager and a new mentality required

So, so frustrating. We started slowly again and the basic mistakes crept in. Simple things like not being able to execute a throw in to feet and back and players literally stepping on the ball, and it snowballed from there. Credit to Rochdale, they scores a very good goal and deserved the win. We were too predictable, lacked intensity and were not creative enough. Very poor.
