Very poor and those subs were unreal Smith and crooks were abysmal today and both finished the game very strange. If our away form drops god help us.

Shambles Warney that. He hasn't got the nouse to be a manager. We gave them 1st H playing 2 right backs. Ogbene know he's right footed but he was our one outlet on the left were he prefers playing. So 2nd Warney puts him on the right, he had no impact there. Hastie & Morris same no impact, I'd send them both back to their parent clubs in January. Lamy best right winger I've seen for us this season can't even get on the bench cause Warney he's trying play happy families. He didn't make me happy today!

"Congratulations to the millers I got it wrong get the wet kipper out you can call me all you want I am a happy puppy tonight. It seems anyone is capable of beating anyone in this league. In football there is always a result that gets your season going I hope this is the one. The fans that made the journey to Ipswich can have an enjoyable journey home. How many of you on this site expected a win tonight." I wonder who wrote that last Wednesday.

That was utterly shambolic & completely undefendable, the worst performance of the season by a country mile. For me the lack of fight & urgency was both maddening & worrying. If Warne gives the players tomorrow off he's as big a snowflake as some say he is. Had a word with Pollitt coming out of the ground & he was seething mad, said the fans deserve an apology after that.

“We’ve had a discussion with the lads in the dressing room,” he added. “If our home form was anywhere near our away form, we’d be absolutely flying. I am making excuses and it is a young team that will get better as the season goes on. But they’ll only get better if they perform and win football matches. Says Warne. However what he doesn't say is if our away form was the like our home form we would be 17th and 4 points above relegation. So overall we are a midtable team at the moment and we are not entertaining our paying fans.

Mr Top Cat it might come as a surprise to you we won at Ipswich I praised them for the win. I also like to poke a bit of fun at myself. My short posts are better than than you and mates long winded drivel and your repetitive catch phrase good post. I will give you a new catch phrase good game good game (one of Bruce's old ones he does not need it any more). But with our manager it will not get used much.

Some of you you on here are not going to believe this but I totally agree with gwru Lamy has more skill than the rest of our so called wide men put together. Warney is going to lose him slam in the Lam.

Warney let Kayode go out on loan when if it's not happening for Smith we have no other alternative up front so not much hope for Cooper Hinds Lamy. Mattock I haven't seen him play well at home all season. Hope Robertson he's fit soon to come in for Wood whose on his last legs. A blind man could see today we had no right winger. Thought Ogbene was our one threat on the left in the 1 half as I've said. Nothing else to say cause I can't remember anything else positive. Coming out of the ground it was subdued to say the least.

Woeful and you could see what was coming from kick off.

If we keep performing like that at home we should be looking for a new manager.

Absolutely fuming at that today. No skill, plan of attack, looked like a group of strangers cobbled together.

"No plan of attack, looked like a group of strangers cobbled together."

can't argue with that C..

.. and he must see the same free kicks and corners that Wiles is taking, they are terrible and surely someone can take them better.  Wiles removes any threat we have from corners.

I don't have the answers, but we look terrible at home (Coventry game apart) and don't look like the home team.

Haven't seen it yet on highlights, but their goal looked about 4 miles offside, and I'm getting really really fed up of the ****e they serve up as referees.... no excuse for the performance though - but maybe the result was again decided by officials (as against Oxford)

He looked offside I agree but I’m far more annoyed at the passive/negative start we were basically asking for it.

The paying public paying for season tickets and on the day won’t stomach much more negative rubbish we are getting served up at home.

Why is there an automatic assumption that when we lose it's the manager's fault?! The first thing I would say is that the players looked jaded after their exploits at Ipswich. Apart from that minor excuse, I would say that our manager was let down by some really substandard individual performances today. Not particularly picking on individuals but Smith hardly controlled a ball all afternoon and missed a guilt-edged goalscoring opportunity; Crooks was virtually non- existent, Wiles couldn't beat the first defender with his crosses etc etc .....
My main issue is why, at NYS, are we dominated by lesser teams ( Shrews, Tranmere, Lincoln, Wycombe) when we have a squad with greater quality than all these Teams? I reckon it's a question of confidence and belief.
After watching England beat the All Blacks this morning, I thought we were in for a bumper sports day. However, a visit to NYS put paid to that. But my angst is with the players, not the manager who tried every trick at his disposal to change the course of the game.
