Why do you bang on about Evans so much. How good was he really and what's he done of any significance since he left us? Where is he now?

Same league as us I believe: at Gillingham. His team has played 13 we 12. out of which his band of brothers have won 3. Warne's bunch of relegation prospects have won 5. The deficient Warne's boys have lost 4. The conquering hero's boys have lost 4. Our clod hoppers have scored 7 more than conceded; whereas that technical wizardry of football's ingenuity has only managed a surplus of 2.

All of which = Warne 18 points from 12 games
Evans 14 points from 13 games

What cant speak can't lie. Which as things stand right now Warne appears to have the upper hand and that will do for me. If Evans was as good as you think he would be managing at least a Championship side and that he aint.

Also I trump you on years supporting Rotherham United; you 1965, me 1958 so put that in your pipe and smoke it. (said in jollity)

Don't get like smiler! His father & his father before him were millers. I'm only bothered about Evans when he was here. Check the record books think only Ronnie 1st time the manager achieved more. Evans sides had heart/passion reflecting the man: football. Warney's reflecting him mostly don't.

You've got your facts wrong again gwru!  For the record, my father supports Sunderland and his father was a Millwall supporter born and raised on the Isle Of Dogs.

Also for the record, I noted in a post that I have a long connection with the club to illustrate the point that even with that connection I would leave to go to another club if I was manager and the right offer came along.  In the same post I made it clear that I know we all have our own histories with the club.  I am regretting that post now, because the context has been ignored and it is being quoted back at me, which is quite amusing in a way but a bit irritating at the same time.

I personally wouldn't confuse ranting with passion, nor a more measured approach with lack of passion. It isn't as simple as that.

Frankly though regardless of whether you think he was good or bad, a disgraceful individual who shouldn't have been allowed near the club or the best thing since sliced bread, Evans left quite a few years ago.  Can we finally leave him in the past along with Clarke-Harris, Bailey-King, Dom Ball and a few others who crop up all too frequently?

Check Evan's record he walked on water not treading water as our present manager is doing. One bit of good news Iki has signed until 2022.

He only walked on water because he was blown up like a balloon full of hot air; hot air which began to be released with the same wet farty sounds as a deflating balloon when he left us.

But yeah good news about Iki.
