If TS had walked out of the ground end of the game Saturday it might have swayed him it's time for a change of manager. It wasn't joyous out there. I never heard New York New York playing. Mr Warne should fall by the sword. His signings this summer especially in midfield apart from Lindsay & up front were terrible. His team selections & early formations have cost us games we should have won. Football is an entertainment business. I felt cold Saturday & it weren't that cold. I was bored waiting for the final whistle. Team selection there's no way loan players should play in place of our own players if they are good enough. There's no way Morris or Hastie are better than Lamy. Tell me if I'm wrong. We ended up Saturday with Wiles playing right back & Mattock playing centre back. That can't be right.

Agree about the Wiles and Mattock tactical changes.

Was baffled at the game and I still am.

I'd have Hinds on the bench at least to give Mattock a wake up call, not seen him play well at home all season. I don't see Clarke as a left back, left side of midfield yes. Why not give Cooper a start, Wood can't go on forever. I noticed 1st time I saw Ogbene even though he's right footed he prefers to play on the left. My side next Saturday if Robertson isn't fit Iversen; Olosunde Ihiekwe Cooper Mattock or Hinds; Lamy Barlaser Lindsay Clarke Ogbene; Smith. I don't see Ladapo or Morris as loan strikers or with a physical presence. Bring Kayode back in January to challenge Smith for a start.

Seen Cooper a couple of times. Wouldn’t say write him off or anything but he’s very static and slow for a young player. I’d keep all the back five as it is. Defending it’s really an issue we’ve got one of the better records.

It’s going forward and being more dynamic that’s the issue.

As I understand it gru, Morris is a loan striker. Ladapo isn't.

Well what a difference a game makes. Went up north after the match so only just catching up with the views. I am not going to come on and defend the performance on Saturday but some of the reactions are what i have come to expect i am afraid.

Gwru wants to put a rookie centre half in and possibly a rookie left back into a defence that is the second best in the division, and this is from a tactical genius. He also claims he would put Lamy in and says tell me any different that Hastie and Morris are as good as him. Well yes i will tell you. Hastie and Morris are more adapt at playing in the third tier of English football at this stages of their careers. Lamy needs time and that is what he is getting. Morris has played 40+ times for a club that finished third in this division. Hastie is one of the highest rated young players in Scottish football and he might be going back in January, not because we want him to but because Rangers see him as a potential match winner same as i do. He is a young lad who needs support from us not barracking. Kayode is playing for Gateshead and gaining valuable experience. Hopefully his time will come but it isn't this season.

It's funny how Gwru in particular has only praise for Smith out of our forwards, yet on Saturday he missed a sitter from ten yards, at a time when a goal would have made them have to be a little more open. Instead we got a well organised, tough, no nonesense team who were well practiced in the dark arts of the game.

No doubt about it we were poor. We passed the ball much too slow and a lot of the time to them. We looked like our legs were still in Ipswich and with very little movement up top from Smith and Crooks and some poor crosses and dead ball kicks we gave their goalkeeper nothing to do. Again we lacked that midfield general, although i thought Lindsay earned his m.o.m.. I like Smith but when he plays on his own we rely too much on the long ball to him, which on Saturday bore no fruit at all. He is no natural finisher so when the rare chance comes he very rarely takes it. As predicted the roller coaster is up and running. Now away to the only football league club in Kent.

whiston01 Morris he's a terrible loan signing adds nothing. Hastie never looks like getting by his opposing full back. I wouldn't even have either on the bench. Smith after Saturday looks like he needs a rest but not got no one to play his role. Kayode looks more an option than what's here. Other clubs play young players our manager doesn't. Wiles needs a rest. Crooks was shocking. Never play Olosunde as a right winger again, that was pointless. There was so much wrong Saturday I can't understand why Warney & his coaching staff are still here.

Let's have a look at what you have just said Gwru. Morris is a terrible signing. He led the line for Shrewsbury in a season they came third in this division. Cast your mind back to Wembley play off and he was proving a real handful until he got injured. He has only shown in flashes for us but he has hardly been given lots of chances. The jury is still out, but terrible signing. Too early to say that.

Hastie never looks like beating his full back. Against Sunderland, Donny, Coventry and Bolton he was the standout player, so because he has had a couple of poorish games doesn't make him a bad left sided player. Kayode looks more of an option than what is here. We have a striker who scored eighteen league goals in this division last season. That's eighteen more than J.J. has scored in it. I would like to think his time will come but Ladapo is way ahead at the moment. Never play Olosunde as a right winger again. Yet on wednesday evening he did a fine job.

As for your last statement about Warne and his coaching staff, i am not going to make a comment.

Ladapo: can't have watched him enough before we signed him. Not a Roth U type player. No scrap/battle in him. No good to us. Kayode more chance he has. Was a shambles Saturday can't dispute that.

Shambles Saturday i can agree with. What about Ipswich away. Top of the league and we go and beat them. That doesn,t count does it. I know let's sack Warne and his coaching staff.

whiston01 I posted on here as soon as I saw side selected for Saturday I didn't agree with it. Lamy not even on the bench was crazy. He's our right winger. Ogbene prefers the left that's obvious. Bringing Morris & Hastie on was the work of someone with no idea. They'll never change a game. One swallow doesn't make a summer! : Ipswich win.

Won at Blackpool, beat Coventry, drew at Sunderland, beat Burton. Its clearly not one swallow.. The point i have been trying to make for a while now is this. We are a young team and we will have good and bad results. This is a league where i think it will happen all season. We all have different ideas which is good. I think to make opinions on players after seeing them in a handful of games or just one cup game is stretching it a bit.

in my opinion its not about the team, its about the management leading the team.

I am just not confident that warne is not up to the task. its all about opinions. but lets see where we are at xmas

Here's a prediction for you after Saturday's game. We lose and it's i told everybody Evans was a better manager than warne. His teams know how to battle and that's what we need. Get Warne and co out. We win and it's they had more of the game. We took our chances. We need Lamy in the team, Morris is no good, Ladapo , why did we pay all that for him. i will know more when i see the couple of minutes of edited highlights. Something has to change on here doesn't it ????

The problem with social media is that every time you say something, it's recorded for infinity. This is gwru's post after the Ipswich win. What happened between Wednesday and Saturday that made him disagree with his own team selection - excepting Lamy of course who is still a work in progress!

Last night looked like we played with two banks of 4 with Crooks behind Smudger. Go with that again just being at home would like to see a natural right wide player. For me would be Lamy. We have options out wide. Crooks was said to be unwell last Saturday must have been recovered last night. One question if there's no other centre back available why isn't Cooper on the bench for one of the strikers. Warney know he's trying to keep players happy. I prefer enough cover on the bench.

smiler whiston01 not far out what I said after Ipswich game & before Saturday's game. I'm not certain on Lamy but I haven't been convinced by anyone we've played right wing this season. Evans he's history but his record when he was manager for us stands up.
