Bolton or bust

They have sold there and out the season starts for them. Looking in my paper pools prediction gives us a 3-0 win have they been on the funny fags. My prediction is 2-0 or 2-1 defeat. Ì always go with hope we do get a win I just can't see where it is coming from last season was bad enough but this one is worse.

Bolton have now signed up the services of Chris O'Grady now 33 and Daryl Murphy now 36. I'm sure both players will try to help turn us over on Saturday. If we are trailing by one or two goals at half time I wonder if our coaching/management team might want to leave the dugout and sit somewhere in the stands for the second half? They might then get some idea and perhaps a better view of what we have witnessed over the last few weeks. Changing dugouts isn't the answer to the questionable in play tactics and substitutions.

So TH thinks a pools panel who predicts a 3-0 home win have been on the funny fags, yet then goes on to predict a possible 2-0 away win !!!

Bolton have signed around ten new players. O'Grady has played 155 games since 2014 and only scored 14 times. He is very much a yesterdays man. Murphy is now 36 and was released by Forest with a year left on his contract. He was a good player and has plied his trade in higher leagues than this. Has he got anything left? I doubt it. Emmanell was fourth choice full back at Ipswich, so i think it could be argued his injuries have sent him backwards. Josh Earl, Verlinden, Ali Crawford and James Weir are kids who have hardly played a league game. Where do you get this prediction of us getting turned over by this bunch?

Let me just finish this spliff. I predict a 3 or 4-0 victory for us. Come on be positive, stop this negativity it will make you bad TH.

Changing dugouts it's defeatist like we don't expect to win. What happens if the season gets turned around & management have something to celebrate. They will be celebrating away from most of the home fans. Next manager surely will change back to the dugout nearer to most home fans. Get it right should beat Bolton. At least we have a left wide player now. If for some reason Warney isn't going to play Mattock bring Hinds in, he looked ok against Man U under 21's with no support on the left.

I think this game will tell us a lot about many of the issues we debate on here. Hopefully we win and play well for the whole 90+ minutes.

I agree this game is a must win talking to a few millers fans there is a lot who think we will be back in div 2 this moving the dug out doesn't bode well who ever thought that one up. You no what thought did followed a muck cart and thought it was a wedding.

We're on a hiding to nothing. If we win, so what we're expected to, lose we're a laughing stock. Notlob have sold out so it'll be another NYS game where it'll feel like an away game. We need to be professional for a change, play Mattock at LB whethe he wants to be here or not, put Robertson back to CB where he belongs & drop Woody to the bench.

I would like a good positive pre-match build up instead of the suicide squad we normally get, we need to bring back the positivity about the place and the team, it is a really good test for us and K Hill is no mug whichever dug out he sits in

Brad agree. Mattock or Hinds at left back. Robertson replace Wood at CB.

Hinds is not eligible for league games under his loan agreement. I think we should move to 352 formation myself but I know the management love a flat back four. I think the 352 could have been tried in the cup games.

Hinds he's eligible. Check but no point. Warney won't play him.

I think Hinds had his loan at Bradford PA cancelled. I'm not sure whether that means he is eligible to play or not. I don't think he is anywhere near ready to play in League One yet, regardless. It is a massive jump from the National League North to League One.

I agree with Brad that this is a no-win fixture for us in some respects. It is annoying that we have to be the first team to play a Bolton side containing grown-ups. If we win people will say that we were bound to win. If we fail to win I think the crowd will turn, unfortunately. Bolton have assembled a bunch of waifs and strays at short notice but quite a few of them have plenty of experience and in Keith Hill they have a canny operator at the helm.

I hope the crowd will get behind the team and will be prepared to be patient. Bolton will have fantastic support behind them and they are going to come and make it difficult for us. It is a game we should win, but it isn't a given by any means.

I think if we win people will take it as a positive and hope it is the turning of the corner. We have the players, we need the heart and self belief, if we go behind we need the mental strength to battle and fight back. Most fans appreciate hard work, effort and desire we are no different. Another defeat and a poor performance will increase the pressure on the teachers, they know it and they need to show strength and positivity as well. Good luck to them all I will give them my full support during the game.

smiler regards Hinds. I don't rate McDonald Crooks Vassell Ladapo but they've had there chance. Hinds wasn't the worst player against Man U under 21's.
