So is the Warne solution to us not scoring a goal swap dugouts. Nothing to do with formation and lack of buying the players needed to change formation in a game during pre season.
I'm not anti Warne I'm anti lack of tactical awareness. He replaces like for like restricted by lack of players to change it. Yes he has been affected by injuries but. And I was with disbelief wine of the reasons we didn't sign henighan he couldn't guarantee him playing every game. Now most players know they have to earn their place unless they were until recently mattock whose either injured or won't sign a contract
I must say its rather an odd thing to do given the situation. Although PW certainly does fit the profile of a little Dutch boy. After the parade or shutting the stable gates...might be better idioms.
His thinking is sound though. Football as we all know is tactical and about personal attributes like pace, power, accuracy but most of all its about the will to win. PW , has noticed that the players dont care as much when they are defending the away end and so being the expert coach and tactical genius he is (alongside his motivational excellence and PHD in human centred football management) he knows he cant so easily move the Kop but instead knows that the rules allow him to kick the away manager out of his dugout.
I just hope that the players are more keen to defend the home end because of the fans because if it turns out we start letting in 5 goals a game in the home net then it might suggest the little dutch boys finger might have created the whole in the defence rather than plugging it.
My solution would be foolproof; Get Barker and Pollitt stood in the home end and PW in the away Dug out. Then if it still aint working, each time there is a corner we get TS to run around to the correct flag and whisper something iconic into the players ear. Obviously that would be ironic to an opposing players ear and put them off dreadfully.

Look how the Tranmere bench cleared and was able to join in with the away fans when they equalised. Moving the away bench away from there and towards the home end might prevent or hamper that tight-knit away team mentality. Any small advantage we can try and get, why wouldn't we? Having said that, I dont think anyone is suggesting it is going to make a massive difference. It's noteworthy (if it hadn't been trailed people would have commented on it) but it isn't a big deal.

Footballers are very superstitious if it helps warne with his own psychological issues and those of the players then fine give it a go. Could be seen as arranging the deck chairs on the titanic, but let us hope not
