Man of the Match v Tranmere Rovers

Michael Ihiekwe for me. As for being the supporter of the season? I reckon that it's a close call between a number of individuals who follow the team religiously and haven't got the time to moan on this site. There's a long season in front of us. I never thought that it would be a cake walk. Far from it. Other clubs in League 1 want to survive as much as we do in the EFL. I was frustrated by our first half performance.  At the half time break I got more enjoyment from watching the pitch being watered.  To be honest I nearly walked out of the ground. How fickle am I?  But no, I walked out well before the end of the match and missed their equaliser.

I believe PW is still working hard and getting the players working better together as a team.  We are looking at a top ten finish at the end of the season.   No need to press the panic button any time soon. We are better than that.

I am not panicking what I saw yesterday was inept when we went 1-0 what did we do retreated back to our penalty area apart from Wiles no midfield. It is finally dawning on us plebs the green tea is not working get Phil Parkinson in and get back to Yorkshire tea.

We can't change formation until all the right personnel to play 4-4-2 are in place. Game management has to be top of the training priorities in training this week, good shout for Ihiekwe for MOM, but for all the frankly puzzling internet meltdown & the stupidity from Stadler & Waldorf 7 points from 4 games is hardly a disaster

Brad my old friend Evans once came into this pub I was in with Raynor. Sat on this bar stool bout 6ft away from me. I never went near him. Some went up to him but he wasn't bothered could see that. But can't knock his record with us. Warney he's made a right b*lls up of this transfer window again. Like someone says on MM where's the midfield player who pulls the strings. We haven't improved the striking situation. I could go on. What do we do stick or twist?

PW loves the club is a good bloke and is trying to take a more modern style to football management. All the above are good, however even his biggest supporters have to see his flaws and we must deal with those flaws as a club. Last week someone said the lad from rangers is coming because of our excellent coaching!!!! Really we are a one dimensional team, we panic at critical times, our in game tactics are plan a or plan a again with a like for like player. Last night i listened to a show on this years champions league, it stated the best coach coming up is the bloke at Leipzig. One of the reasons is his ability to change a game he has a plan a bc and d. We have to address the coaching problem at the club, TS must insist on adding experience to Warnes coaching team otherwise the assets he has bought will not be used correctly. It is not the time to panic but it is a time to act, 3 defeats and 1 draw at home in 4 games is not good. My other concern about PW is he is a "happy path" manager, when the players get on with him he is their best friend, he cannot manage a difficult situation. This has been shown repeatedly during his time with both of the Balls, Purrington and now Proctor. The lad wants to play and a squad need to be managed as all the players not starting will be unhappy, it is PW job to deal with that in a way that helps the club, all he does is send them on loan. Proctor would get on the end of crosses the new lad can cross where is smith 10 yards away, smith will not score enough goals. Add to that pw gave proctor a new contract last year, why do that then dump him. Lastly anyone in football knows morris and vass are injury prone, we now have no CF cover or competition for places. These are simple basic mistakes that are and will cost us

Derbymiller Proctor has gone. Forget about him. Injury has done him. Vassell best thing him getting injured he was next to useless. Morris another sick note. Purrington I do agree with you on that one if he had wanted to stay I'd have kept him instead of Mattock but we made our choice last season so that's done. Our problem as I keep saying Warney brought McDonald in as our midfield general but he's same as Jones & Wood past their sell by date.
