Bury next week

What happens if Bury were to be kicked out of the league. Ì have total sympathy for the genuine supporters I can remember when we were in that position. Ì don't know what the rules are what compensation would we get for the lost gate money. Ì am a season ticket holder do I get my money back not holding my breath. Watching BBC news yesterday Rotherham got a mention now that is a 1st.

If the Bury game doesn’t go ahead at all I’d rather the club just keep the season ticket money for that game. It’s completley beyond the clubs control and we can’t run on fresh air.

Either that or donate the lot to bluebell wood or Rotherham hospice.

I suppose if you want to be hard headed it's part of the risk of getting a season ticket. If the club wanted to 'do the right thing' could they decide to allow season tickets to be used for a cup game?

Great idea Smiler. I'll use my freebie for our semi final clash in the EFL cup!

Bury game it's been suspended. So if/when it gets played you haven't lost a game. If worst outcome it's declared void then see what club does. It won't just be us be every side this season in league 1.

The OP begins 'What happens if Bury were to be kicked out of the league'.

There's obviously a real chance of Bury going under.  first and foremost lets hope they don't.  But I'm sure with that threat and with our home game against them being suspended a lot of season ticket holders will have wondered where they might stand if the game never takes place.

What is it with you that you have to be so awkward?

And before you tell me that you don't believe in looking ahead and speculating, here is what you wrote a day or two ago:-

'..if we don't win at Burton by time we play again the league table isn't going to be looking so rosy for us'.

I think ahead but pointless on here. Most don't. True when we play again on the 31st if we don't win at Burton our league position won't look anything sparkling.

My guess there will be a last minute deal struck to save Bury there seems to be a few clubs in a financial mess in this division glad we are not one of them. What about the championship those that gambled to get into the prem I bet some of there fans are hiding behind the curtains.
