He defeated James Wattana 10–5 in the final round of qualifying at the 2007 World Championship, to become the third-youngest player (at the time) ever to reach the main stage of the tournament. You work it out.
Just checked. 17 correct Judd Trump 1st time in the world championships. What threw me 2005 was year Murphy won it. NH horseracing doesn't start proper for another 2 months so I'll keep to formation at Roth U. Last night looked like Shrewsbury didn't know if they wanted a sh*t or a shave. I'm going on the Lincoln game. We looked same as Shrewsbury last night. But Warney will think all is well after last night. I don't.
You make yourself look daft so often gwru its painful to witness. You were prepared to read all sorts into our game against Man Utd kids despite the fact that our manager said we would rather not be playing it and fielding the weakest team he could get away with. We then go away and win easily in a more serious competition and you completely write it off because the opposition were (according to you) not taking it seriously. You can't have it both ways. Do you see? These cup games are either irrelevant or they are not. You can't pick and choose which are or aren't afterwards depending on whether you like the result or not. If we had lost last night you would be all over this site moaning about it. Bottom line - you are so blinkered and so determined to carry on banging your particular drum that you make yourself look silly in the process.
Ps I.read Ian's post as if he went or at least saw the game somehow. Maybe he will confirm. I think it's fair to say that generally speaking Ian isn't convinced by Warne as a manager, but it looked like he was reasonably encouraged by the performance. Ronnie Moore was also there and seemed impressed but of course he knows nothing about football and hasn't got the guts to say what he really thinks anyway 😂

I'm looking at the bigger picture. We just need cover at the back & width especially on the left then we'll have more chance of success this season. But Warney will think his 4-3-3 is working after the Shrewsbury win. I don't after the Lincoln game. Burton away will tell us more.
It will be tough at Burton. We can win any game in this division but will lose some. If we win I Burton playing 433 I for one won't be saying that it is an unqualified success. Equally if we lose, people shouldn't be too quick to say 'I told you so' and write it off. Patience is needed whatever the result at Burton.
Last time we were in this league we played different systems in different games depending on who was fit and who we were playing against. We were flexible, and could and did adapt from game to game and within games. I think that supporters who accuse Warne of being inflexible and to coin a phrase of the moment 'not having a plan B' forget that.
It is interesting to me that Warne switched to three at the back after the game was won at Shrewsbury. I agree that we need players in the squad who offer us flexibility and options. I think that is what Warne has been alluding to in recent interviews.
Should have got a wide left player in this week, it's our missing link. Cause if we don't win at Burton by time we play again the league table isn't going to be looking so rosy for us.

yes I was there and thoroughly enjoyed it-of course.
Its fair to say i have been amongst the most negative on PW and one of my mates confessed he had found my opinions last year made him very unhappy. However, at the start of this season he has reflected more and has a little more time for my opinion...needless to say, I am becoming slightly more positive about him .LOL
The main reason is that I perceive that PW is actually maturing in the role and his focus on the "family" is becoming more realistic and practical. I have also been impressed with is courage and that he is showing flexibility too. A winger and central defender will add a lot more to his options obviously
