whiston01 watched all WBA game Ajayi looked so at ease back at centre back, will have better players around him. Saw Purrington's headed goal, he's good enough for the level he's playing in just we've got Mattock. Neither of them would spend a season sat on the bench. Like you say all players we've moved out it's not made us weaker. Just we are a couple of players short to replace them. Jones & Clarke injured so that makes the squad look abit thin. Hinds & Kayode can play in the EFL trophy tues. Hoping to see Cooper then.

Agree on Ajayi he played really well didn’t he. He’s still going to make the odd blunder but he’s got quality. I think the 1.5 million we got up front was a little cheap considering the quality he’s got and the team he’s gone to.

early days. Gunna be lots of different battles emerge and changes.

I appreciate the way PW has evolved. His assertive side is certainly emerging. I think we will see much more demanded from him this season. He knows he cant lay back on his stock phrases such as not being good enough for this level but im getting everything from them.

He seems to be prepared to go 433 as much as possible. Of course, the emergence of a good enough winger will impact on his options as will how we fare against the top 6 in this league.

All in all its a promising start.
