WIMBLEDON AWAY

Big thanks to Whiston for the update from Roundwood.

The beauty of it is that Warne could legitimately start any three from Vassell, Smith, Morris, Proctor and Ladapo and have a strong unit with two strong options to make an impact off the bench. A good position to be in.

In midfield two of MacDonald, Lindsay, Barlaser, Wiles and Crooks will miss out. That will mean three very good midfielders starting and two very good midfielders on the bench. Again, a good position to be in.

Its no secret that we are short of cover at the back but can still field what I think is probably our strongest, first choice back five of Iverson, Olosunde, Ihiekwe, Robertson and Mattock. Wood as cover isn't the end of the world. He is still a fairly reliable option in League One and won't let us down if called upon.

smiler you make it sound we have that many options it's frightening. Way I see it Mattock should get two mens wages cause he'll be our left hand side. Morris is no wide left player. Vassell can play on the left but no idea how to cross. I can see us winning tomorrow if nothing happens to the back 4. Bring Wood on then we are at a disadvantage.

Hinds has gone to Bradford PA on loan so PW obviously thinks he's not up to the required level at the moment. It may mean that Clark is not far from fitness?

Sounds like Clarke injury isn’t anywhere near as bad as first feared. Think he probably panicked a little bit after a bad previous injury which is understandable.
