Full houses all round then eh?

Why do the EFL (or BBC) treat fans of L1 & L2 clubs as though they're 8 years old? Do they really think they are going to resurrect this dead duck of a competition by inviting some more Greed League's pampered kids into it?

I'm sure they think stadiums up & down the country will be full of schoolkids in replica Man U & Liverpool shirts. Hearing the BS coming out of Harvey's replacement Jevons mouth shows that nothing has changed in the minds of the still woefully out of touch EFL.

can certainly agree its a symptom of the huge gap in English football and built on such an uneven and therefore patronising framework.

To me it is like the Roman culture of feasting. Gorge yourself until sick and start again.

I support the millers as best I can I went to the last checkatrade matches I enjoyed them good to see different players no pressure in those games no point pulling things down all of the time just go with the flow.

It's called having principles. When the suits eventually get their way & the Millers are playing a vital L1 fixture v Wolves U21 on a cold November Tuesday you can proudly boast "I was a part of that happening"

Went to both checkatrade H matches last time. Both Wiles & Hinds stood out. Worthwhile if we take at least one young player the next step forward. But take Brads point. Don't want premiership academy sides in the ELF. Don't want the situation were Man C play Man C B in a premiership game. If they do can't stop promotions.

With the appearance rules they have to force teams to at least give the appearance of being bothered about it. That says it all. It always was garbage, but when they used it to give bigger clubs a chance to give their U19s a competitive run out it went from bad to worse.

Our time has come for a good cup run. I'm going to stick my neck out and predict that we get beyond round 2 in at least one of the cup competitions this year. Heady stuff!!

For some clubs its not even worth switching on the stadium floodlights, many clubs will run at a loss for most of the checkatrade

Unless you pull one of these out of the hat.

Well the game against Man Ures overpriveleged sixteen & seventeen yr old urchins is set for Aug 6th. If you want to spend an evening @ NYS surrounded by school kids with their autograph books tryi g to get a glimpse of teenagers who'll never get anywhere near the MUFC 1st team go for it, & remember you have the added bonus of seeing league games with Palace & Norwich B come one step closer.

Went against Man C under 21's two years ago. Will be going on Aug 6th. It's a game that needs paying for. I must think different.

Brad you are banging your head against a brick wall mate. Hopefully this stupid competition won’t get off the ground because I agree with you the greedy bar stewards of the EPL will want to fill our division with their 2nd and 3rd teams. Just saying you will go and watch Rotherham if they played the dog and duck on a Christmas Eve at midnight adds nowt to this argument, we have plenty of opportunities to give the few young players we have a run out.

Got my ticket today for Aug 6th. Still in the East stand but we'll have just under half a squad & Cooper, Hinds & Kayode who will welcome a game. Be worth watching. Back in my seat in the South west stand for the rest of the season starting on Aug 10th.
