Ian, cant see it myself the football bubble has a few more decades to go before it goes pop.

The womens game has come on in leaps and bounds and as Kevin Costner said in Field of Dreams " build it and they will come", but at what expense, can you see RUFC being anywhere near the likes of even WSL2? When the men's team cant afford anyone in the championship.

We have to realistic here, yes if they win the world cup that would be the best feeling ever, but as we all know Football goes in cycles.

In the men's game, Germany are entering the beginning of their next cycle ,

France have done it twice now,

Spain are on the downwind leg of their next cycle.

And we keep on making the same mistakes, but with Gareth them mistakes and short comings are now few and far between, we win penalty shootouts, we reached the semi-finals of the World Cup / and won 3rd in the Nations Cup, i think we have a chance of winning the Euros this time around.
