We do seem to struggle giving academy graduates league game time. Wilesan exception. Yates given chance and not good enough imo May be Warne feels another season playing regular competitive football at a lower level will give a better indication of where they are. But we do need some more cover in defense and so must admit we need a Left sided player to give balance

Marvin Ekpiteta deal still rumbling?

300k decent but doubt its quite enough to tempt them although seems they got him from non-league

a teaching assistant who allegedly thumped someone in the cinema-aquitted

Said before would we go much higher than the 300 already offered. That’s a very good offer for a player who has only just played his first game in league football.

Warney in todays tizer on about a centre back free agent. Someone on twitter mentions Donervan Daniels, don't like look of him at all released by Blackpool. If they are released by a club I would say player wise in a worse position than us they are no good to us. Free agents are the last resort. We must have some money left. Need a couple of proper signings. Still a few weeks of the transfer window left for us.

Regards potential new CB Warney is saying I've got to get a good feel for him. What about ability? We'll be probably not signing anyone till near the end of next. Look after the pennies & the pounds will look after themselves!

Paul Davies Proctor loan? Listening to me! Get two wide men in don't need 5 strikers.

Hinds he's back. Recalled? No matter. If Mattock isn't fit get him in at left back.

2 good wingers in now, maybe another CB and that's us set up until January.

Very exciting squad in my opnion, if Warne can get them clicking as a team and creating the chances we are lacking.

Looking fwd to the season ahead.

Two direct and fast wingers. Much more like it as our play has been too slow so far.

Hopefully squeeze Emmanuel in before the deadline.
