Just looked at the contract this kid signed, by the look of his signature I fear we have not bought well. Analysis predicts the lad will be slow, clumsy, and have both his feet the wrong way round!!!!!no

biggrinWelcome to the Mighty Millers Mr Lindsay, looking forward to seeing you in a Millers shirt.biggrin

Not kicked a ball in anger yet this season already the snipers are out. We have had a huge turnover this transfer window it will be ages before this squad settles down. All the pre season training might get the players fit but the proper work starts next week. I went last night one or 2 decent signings Lindsey could be another one. Man U kids Aug 6th love to beat them put a decent side out go for it UTM.

Gwru you really are a totally arrogant and full of your self importance ####. You know nothing about football. You have never played the game or been involved in the game. "I'll know 1st time I see him if he's any good". No you won't because you don't have a clue. How come Olesunde, who you seem to think is called Olsunde, has had three years at Manchester United. You, because you go to "home games, mean all" know more than the seasoned professionals at Old Trafford? Delusional.

TC where's officer Dibble! Did you go last night? If you didn't I'm not interested in your opinion. After last season when Right back was one of our main weaknesses I was hoping Olsunde would be the answer. I was there like a few others off this site he was worse than Vyner that's how bad he was. I hate people who sit behind a computer who won't get off their arse to support their side critical of me who at least goes to every home game. I'm there Saturday & will be getting a ticket for the Man U under 21 sides EFL cup game on August 6th. My season ticket it's ready for use starting the Lincoln game.

Added to that, he has got a full cap for the USA.  I imagine the manager of their national team watched him for more than one pre-season friendly before he called him up, and thought he had something about him.

It is true that everyone has a right to an opinion, but not all opinions are equally valid.  The two things are different. I'm afraid that anyone who thinks they can assess a player based on one look in a pre-season friendly better than the professionals who watch them and work with them daily is talking rubbish.  If the same person can't or won't see why they are talking rubbish, they are probably a lost cause.

Pathetic. I live in London Wurzel. Ergo, that's Latin btw, I wasn't there last night. As you know, I had many years getting paid for playing football. I understand the level that you need to be at to get paid. You don't. Have you ever seen me criticise a professional football player? No. And you never will, because I have an understanding of the levels that are required. You don't.

The only thing Man u know about football is who has got the biggest wallet. The young players they hàve got spend most of the time kicking a ball against a wall. I liked that full back but you could see his decision making was poor at times. He needs training up but by Xmas we could have a decent playe. gwru is wrong give him a chance but comming from money bags united means nothing.

TC not bothered were you live. Don't message on here about what you haven't seen. smiler being considered at some level for America ranks with me playing snooker years ago, highest break about 40 when they were hanging over the bag.

You said that only people who went last night were entitled to an opinion. I explained why I wasn't there. And Olsunde at Manchester United. How did he end up there, when he's rubbish. Interested to hear your theories.

He's another Thorpe. Won't be here next season. Hope he proves me wrong. Looking forward to seeing Lindsay & Clarke when he signs. At least they have played some competitive football.

To quote a footballing guru on this site, you can't tell anything from friendlies. Therefore any views on Matthew Olawale Olosunde are totally null and void I'm afraid!

Remember Tom Thorpre he came from manure with glowing references what happened to him. Look at Vaulks went to Scotland on £10 a week parents had to help him out pulled himself up by his boot straps. First season here wasn't that brilliant but he worked at it. Just because you started at a big club means nothing. As I have said see how it goes. Oh by the way onlý good thing about London is the road going to Rotherham.

Really? I would say that the best thing about Rotherham is the sliproad from Canklow to the M1 South. Where in London have you lived?

anyway, back on topic...

Sorry, but if you are not a little excited by this pre season's signings so far (and if you read up the thread , I myself was not optimistic),  then you either come here simply to vent some strange bile simply because that's your thing, or you are simply not any kind of true fan.

This team looks exciting, super signings so far, and I can't wait for season to start proper.... and I think that's probably the view of most proper fans that come on here, and the majority of our fans generally...

I have learned over the years not to get to exited at the start of the season. I agree with gwru the best player for us by miles was Wiles (I could be a poet ). The reason I am not going supernova need to see us play some proper games. I liked Freddie Laptop logged into NYS with his first goal as I have said goalie is class. Midfièld did a job apart from Wiles play him every match. We just need to get back into the habit of winning games. To be honest I would not like to live in London but well done to you still supporting your boyhood team.

Imo let the players bed in and give them a proper preseason friendlies are just that lets see the new players in competitive matches. We may see players who did well in preseason have absolute mare matches and get subbed and players who were off the pace grow and become 1st pick on team sheet for all.us sofa coaches At the end of the day to quote Clint Eastwood 'opinions are like ******** everyone has one' What counts is respecting others. But if they keep same opinion then it gets boring so I just ignore

Let's not fall out. We all have our own views. Olesunde I'll give him a chance but he's got to improve. One thing we surely have to agree on Tony Stewart he's splashing the cash. It's not just fees paid it's wages. Our wage bill for 20 players for the season won't be far off 4 million. Then there's managers/coaches wages + Scott & del boy's. Stewards ect... on top of that. Two more players in Clarke & a Centre back we'll be sorted. Wiles he's going to be one hell of a player. Keep to level he showed against WBA he can't be dropped. If we get a Centre back & Robbo stops Ihiewke will play Right back at Wimbledon. See if I'm right.
