Millersbanter - the end?

Thank you everyone, but at the 11th hour Ian has stepped in and offered to help and take some of the load off, so he is now a moderator. I'm sure you'll agree over the years Ian has shown pragmatism, has a depth of knowledge and always offers balanced views.

Millersbanter will now continue until the end of the 2019-20 season of which we'll review it again.

Great great news. Thanks Ian AND Ex for allowing this excellent site to continue. I was & am available to help in any way I can moving forward. But......for this site to grow & be the best Millers fans board we know it is, moderators must actually moderate, by that I mean questioning posts & posters that set out to deliberately offend & inflame people on here.

Really pleased MB is saved. Thanks to Exeter for his past efforts & Ian for stepping in. I wouldn't have a clue were to start what you two are doing. I'll try to behave myself! I don't mind different views but not to upset the applecart!

Think Exe should read Millersmad ASAP. One of the posters on there has made a far from flattering comment about Exe's business practice. Another poster on MM has urged that the post be deleted PDQ. It does not make for good reading. Just a heads up.

I don't even read what's on there anymore, if their posters can't keep it legal they'll dig their own hole.

Just says about the mentality of those who can't leave the past in the past...it's 4.5 years ago...how boring must their lives be?

As for comments about business practise...yeah and I'm going to listen to someone who hasn't had their own business for 14 years through an injury where I couldn't walk for 4 months, an ex wife having a brain hemmorhage when kids were young, then a proper nasty divorce...tools haven't got a clue.

But thanks for the heads up anyway!

At the end of the day I think we Rothers fans need as much support and profife for our ***munity as we can get.

Even though it might be seen as somewhat small or inconsequential to others at big clubs or even among our own, Millersbanter brings me a level of meaning and sometimes Joy that is linked to one of the most stable things a man/women can have in life-a cause, an identity and a responsibility and if thats attached to something like a great small concern , club or hobby then its to to cherished.

Its a great usable site. very easy on the eye.

I will be doing a little bit of admin and support Ex and the board as able in that capacity.

Onwards with a good message board and ignoring the silly attacks from others.

Maybe we will start with a minimum posting age of 72 years to riddle out the plastics and those still coming of age smile

I see that the poster known as Bornamiller on here, lbj on Mad and possibly other names on both is back on Mad with a vengeance. I thought that as lbj he had previously been asked to leave that site. Gwru, you have said many times that you would like to be active on that site again. Have you asked the question? It looks like there may be an amnesty on.

Not seen Bournamiller or Ibj on Mad but not looked lately. All I get if I try to log on there ban will never be lifted. Few on there don't like me so that's it as I see it. I'm happy on this site, glad it stayed open.
