I'm sorry to give the heads up that Millersbanter will come to an end at 23:59 on Friday 24th May (BST) as I'm just not prepared to fund it anymore with both hosting costs and time.
in the 4.5yrs this site has been running we've got figures of 7m page views, average over 4000 per day and most importantly I haven't had to ban anybody once, and that's testament to all of you & your conduct (from the Warney school?).
It's been fun and I've enjoyed the hobby that it's been, but from the outset it had to be financially viable and I've carried it long enough.

A sad day indeed. I completely understand your position & the reasons given for ending the site. With only Millersmad as an RUFC message board left I'll keep my opinions to myself in future. If I'm honest part of me is glad it's ending this way rather than certain posters that have been killing the site slowly of late.
Thank you for giving level headed Millers supporters a platform for so long Exetermiller & all the very best for the future.
I must applaud your resolve, Exe. I have witnessed your tireless efforts to keep the good ship Banter afloat. With 516 listed crew members it appears that some have fallen overboard and some have simply jumped ship. There will be no public enquiry. The blame game will not even take root. What was said on Banter stays on Banter.
Will miss this site. MM MB will miss my tips, my Roth U views. Dingo dollar for the national 2020, sure it's been saved & will be trained for that race. I've never been proved wrong about Roth U. Bailey-King never got a chance. JCH he's better than any of our present forwards apart from Smudger. Forde isn't good enough, Newell far too more out than in form both even for league 1, provan over 3 seasons or more. Most of old posters on this site want this site for their own little world but up to them.
That's hardly a thanks for the great efforts made by Exetermiller, gwru. Its more of a banging of your own drum and how good you are. I am beginning to understand what Bradthemiller is on about.

gwru, you are cracking me up here. The good ship Banter is barely afloat and you're still ringing a bell like the ship's very own Town Crier still proclaiming old news. We've both had some good banter on here about sports other than football. I respect many of your views however, Banter is going to be no more, deceased and not just pining for the Fiords.

Gen Miller. I'm looking forward all the time but can't help thinking back to players we've let go who in JCH case is better than players we've got in his place apart from Smudger.
