After last Mondays game I am very surprised the manager is still here I would want as many players out but reading the Tizer looks like the tea party is is going to carry on. Just got to hope Scotty and his team can bring in a few decent recruits I predict we will be looking for a new manager before Christmas. Ì can see us being relegated by 3 30 tomorrow there will be nobody running on the pitch next Sunday I will be running for a pint.

Oh dear THMiller. Please read Smilers posts as he puts it over much better than i ever could. The manager you believe should be sacked, has worked mini miracles with the resources he has. Ok i agree you have a right to post your opinion but what are they?. Please put some meat on the bones, not knee jerk reactions to a couple of defeats. If P.W goes who replaces him and where do we get the 20 plus players you want as replacements? I want RUFC as a challenging top championship club but realise its just about impossible with where we are now. I hope you can give me hope but i will not be running on the pitch at the end of our last home game but i will be giving a standing ovation to everybody who has given their all in trying to keep us in the championship.

There is more meat on an Ethiopian chicken than what we have got in our team when we are relegated our manager should fall on his sword but he would probably miss. There are people at our club played a fortune compared to what my income is start earning your money and get a few decent players in.

I've never seen an Ethiopian chicken. I've seen a lame duck though. It's not good.

Monday Warney dug his own grave. He started digging that in January. Wood Towell Newell how bad were they. Rest of the wingers showed nothing. Williams could have been he needs games not match sharp. If Warney stays be same crap next season. My ST is paid for but I want some heart & passion from the management, on the pitch. You can see by the empty seats at the New York belief is going. TS you say you run this club as a business. What's happened this season it's not made business sense.

Grwu totally agree with you for a change Ts has a business model based on us buying season tickets no matter what. Warne has in my opinion seemed unable or unwilling to adapt the team tactics until.to late and stayed with his plan A until to late and that's where why we won't improve I watch him and his two buddies talking about changes then do nothing. The times when he delayed making a change to an attacking formation when the otherwise was there for the taking and made like for like subs Those matches which we ended up drawing cost us at least 10 points which now we are paying for. He sticks our most creative player on bench Williams for most games why my guess is Williams wants to play in his best position but Warne disagreed. So much for his intelligent humanist approach to management. It needs a serious re-evaluation of tactics budget and players for next season. I live in hope

Just a couple of points Hillsborough. If Rotherham's business model is based on the buying of season tickets then get ready for non league football. As for Williams being our most creative player. In Division one our two most creative players were Newell and Forde re assists. I haven't seen this years assists yet but my guess is Williams isn't in the top five.

We've been lightweights most of this season, punching above our weight in a middleweight division. Most of our opponents have been too slick for us. They've caught us off guard on many occasions. We've not been streetwise enough to match the theatrics of the usual suspects. We're not quite reeling or even punch drunk. However, we have not got to lose either of our last two games. A big ask? Maybe. We need to leave this season behind with some of our dignity in tact. Warney needs to give us something to cheer about as this miserable season draws to a close. How he manages to do that is down to him and his coaching staff. Does he even know his best team? Playing people in their correct positions?  It doesn't really matter what Millwall do or don't do today. It's what we do. We need to be able to hold our heads up high believing that one day we will return and be able to compete in the Championship.

We will be back.

UTM!

whiston01 Forde & Newell are a Busted flush. Two to be released next season. If we are still 3 pts behind Millwall after this afternoon we are down. Back to our best defence/midfield today. Williams right wing, Taylor left. Can only play with the cards you are dealt. Dealer to blame.

Dealer closely followed by the banker.

As for the attacking threat? With the lone ranger up front it does not and will not cut the mustard. The opposition defence just have to sit back and wait for  Smudge to lose the ball. They then play the ball to feet, keep possession and most importantly avoid playing too many long balls. If we haven't got the ball we cannot score goals. We need to be braver on the ball and not treat it like some flaming hot potato. If in doubt launch it up to Smudge. That smacks of a team who are lost for ideas. More creativity is required, which brings us back to to the coaching side of things.

I never complain on here about our chairman the amount I put in is pennies compared to what he has put in when we go down he is the one who takes the biggest financial hit. look at Bolton Blackpool Coventry just to name a few I am very thankful we are not in there positions. We should be able to turn things around with our budget not a fan of the manager he has run his race but if he is here next season so be it. Expecting nothing today best thing to put us out of our misery fancy Millwall to beat Stoke there players will be up for it easy game for WBA fear another pasting.

Love all the opinions on this forum no insults given when opinions vary But I think the team and coaching staff need a restructure Warne or another as manager Barker attacking coach Handy as midfield A.another as defensive coach We need. Perm signed goalie And perm right back Perm attacking midfielder 2 proper wingers and play 4 4 2 play on the front foot And 5 strikers so we can play attacking football on the floor we have done it like in the first half in some matches. Smith will.never get protection from ref so why bang it up to him Retire wood alas not got it any more That's my thoughts

Drastic changes are needed. Reading all the tweets from people associated with the club and the articles from local journalists you would think we have stayed up easily and done so by playing attacking football. They talk about warne as if he is the messiah, but it is all what a nice bloke he is. F that we need a winner, playing george michael and having individual hugs the night before wba. Let us remember the result of warnes methods is FAILURE relegated twice, and with the leagues worst goals against column and an in ability to win games from a winning position. Unless TS bails him out with a big budget we will be mid table at best he is not a winner

One season as manager in League 1.

1 promotion.

After the Norwich game yesterday Scott Minto and Keith Andrews were saying what a great job he has done. But, of course, armchair experts such as yourself know far more about the game.

yes warne has the ability to be a good manager and perhaps working under evans and experiencing his style of management first hand. has made him try and using positive man management techniques to overcome adversity. or avoid personalties that need that sort of negative management. well if they play good cop bad cop warne and barker if aint worked. but warne achilles heels has been tony stewart premiership budget which to everyone else in football is league 2 and also he inability to react to games

We dont want SE back that would be a backward step. PW had one clear season in charge and got promoted; this season he has managed to make a bunch of L1 players competitive using his one up front tactic. We only just failed to stay up against teams with enormous budgets and played some good football. SE arguably wasted our cash when he was here.
