When clocks strike midnight thoughts of the day become lost in that all consuming vanishing point. Then in a slumber we dream of the whys and whats that could have been?
Nah!
From the get go there's been an elephant in the room. Rotherham's recent history regarding the fall-out from the CSE has done us no favours. There was always going to be a backlash. We could have had huge investment put into the club but that would have been wasted. Our reputation as a town has been tainted by the actions of a minority of ne'er do wells who went unchallenged for many years. Added to that look at some of the chants from visiting supporters. They have got it embedded into their psyche that Rotherham is a town full of paedos. Even the top teams in the Championship have done us no favours when they should have beaten what appeared, on paper inferior opposition.
The truth hurts sometimes. Yes, we've tried our best on the pitch but when other results go against us it's as if there is an unwritten agreement to bash the Millers.
Look at Leeds losing to a ten man Wigan team. A few days before that Norwich scraping a draw against Wigan. I don't need to go on. Someone tell me that I'm wrong and paranoia often goes unseen by the sufferer.
Anyone enjoying the sunshine and snooker?

We ought to give The Brummies a damn good thrashing on Monday to send out a clear message that we're not gonna roll over and have our tummies tickled.
We're not getting demob happy just yet. We're the Millers.
Just bought some new shades. They're grey tinted but only for protection from the sun mind. Weather forecast is set good for Monday with lots of sunshine predicted. Hope we don't make heavy weather of it on the pitch. Pollen count must be on the up I've done nothing but sneeze a lately. If we beat Birmingham that's not to be sneezed at either.
