Looks like we dropped a real clanger letting Clarke Haŕis go scored a worldey I never thought he got a fair crack with us probably didn't like green tea. A few of his goals could have kept us up

I was always pro Jonno. But Warney wasn't. He likes players like Forde who might be a good human being but he's not done what he was bought here to do in 3 seasons. Be a winger.

This season where is the striker who is putting the ball on the onion basket I always thought it was a big mistake letting him go when was the last time one of our forwards scored a goal he has probably gone to a club that has played him in his right position and given him some game time.

Apart from Smudger we haven't got a striker. If Jonno isn't better than Yates Proctor Da Ball then I know next to nothing about Roth U players. Dom Ball another one he can't be no worse than Crooks or Towell. Got to go on ability in the championship not being a good human being. I don't want trouble causers but I don't mind players with abit of attitude.

I think we have been here before about Jonno. He is a smashing lad (25 in summer) and whilst injured with a cruciate injury went all over Rotherhams schools etc meeting youngsters and representing RUFC. He certainly fits the good human being model. He spent lots of time around NYS and the staff who had any dealings with him are full of praise about him.
In my opinion he has a lot of potential but has failed to show it enough. Signed for us in 2014 for a reputed record fee of 350K. Only 21 and not really cutting it he was sent out on loan to MK Dons and Donny. Again he didn't show enough scoring once in 14 games for those two clubs. Unfortunately he picked up a cruciate injury in 2016 and was out for nearly a full season. He only played 71 times for us scoring 9 goals. He was transferred to Coventry after being on loan to them and helping them get promoted. He got a two year contract but struggled in the first half of this season and was transferred to Bristol Rovers. At Coventry he played 44 games scoring only 8 goals.
At Bristol rovers he has caught fire scoring seven times in eight games including a hat trick. This is in Division one and i think we were right to move him on as you can only wait so long for somebody to come good. I agree with Gwru to some extent about him being a better option than Yates and Ball but like those two none of them looked good enough for the championship. Jonno gave us that physical power and might have been useful to bring on as Smudger tires.

Final word on Jonno. Go show them, always knew you had it in you.

Got to go with what we've got. If we get can keep clear of injuries, suspensions we've got as good a chance as Reading & Millwall: stopping up. Robertson sounds like he could be back at Derby. Time to bring Williams in. I prefer Williams on the right but Taylor will be fresh next week. Robertson for Wood, Williams for Crooks two changes. Then Vaulks & Mattock will be back. Switch Williams to the right then. Mattock at left back, Jones or Vyner at right back. UTM

Has not taken his chances and is now in a lower league.

not good enough for the championship, but always a place for him around league 1 teams.
