If we sit back & admire the Canaries pretty football then it'll be WBA mark two, but if we get in their faces & compete for every ball, we as a crowd get right behind the lads & we take advantage of the expected monsoon we stand a chance tomorrow. As Corporal Jones so rightly said "they don't like it up em" so COYR!!!

Forecast says rain and strong winds. That'll do nicely. Mattock was excellent at QPR and is a loss. Norwich are obviously top for a reason, but they do concede goals and I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a home win. Here's hoping.

Going for back to back wins agree don't give them room to play get the home crowd behind the team we can be the 12th man just go for it.

Give them something to think about. Williams on the right, Newell on the left.

I've been to the docs. He reckons I've got some kind of fever. Crunch match fever to be exact. I'm experiencing it a lot lately. There is no known remedy for this type of condition. However, the doc recommended that I sit in a darkened room and rock from side to side if the Millers lose. I did ask him what I should do if we were to beat Norwich on Saturday. He spoke in a hushed tone and said, 'Plethora, plethora.' I replied and said, 'Thank you, doc, that means such a lot to me.'

you are right wotsisname there is no cure.

Medicine for tomorrow to be taken twice tonight and once on waking up tomorrow and liberally from 3pm onwards.

RUFC have only beat Norwich twice in the last 20 odd games.

up to the and of the 60s we had the better of the games, but since then its been a sorry tale.

we did (im sure you remember ) beat them 2-1, 2 years ago. That is, of course, one of the ingredients I have mixed into the medicine for you. That will be the orange sugary taste. The other 50 odd ingredients are real medicine.

In favour of Norwich

Games won: 15
Games drawn: 11
Games lost: 9

2 wins in last 22 for the Millers

NORWICH sit 39 points above the millers.

thats 11 wins worth.

Norwich top of the league.

Take without bitterness and the secret ingredient that you can be proud to be a Rotherham fan.

Like I said, no cure but some symptomatic relief.

We also beat them some years ago when they came down from what was then the 1st Division; we on the other hand had just been promoted. First game of the season home at Millmoor. They go one up and we are expecting a pasting, but straight from the kick off the ball is played forward, crossed from Towner and headed in by the late Rod 'The Nod' Fern to equalise within 40 seconds, missed by the TV cameras as they were still playing the replay. a 2nd from Seasman, such a class player, a third from Ronnie and a fourth from Fern. To all you young uns out there, this is the best squad of players ever seen in Rotherham shirts in my life time

www.youtube.com/watch

Btw at the kick off you can hear a horn being blown….that was me. Happy days

I think it was 1967 the last time Norwich beat us on our ground. They are a free scoring team racking up 75 goals, but let plenty in for a top of the league side.
We go into the game with possibly three of our better players out (Vaulks, Mattock and Robertson.) It makes it tough for us today and i think a draw would be a great result. Today will tell us how far Wigan have fallen. If they cannot beat Bolton on home soil then i think we have a major chance of staying up.
I think he will go with
Rodak
Vyner Ihiekwe Wood Jones
Ajayi
Taylor Wiles Towell Newell
Smith.
I think its fair enough to start with this team after the performance at Q.P.R. Williams and Crooks to come on for impact and good old Forde to come on to keep it tighter in the middle. 1-1 or 2-2 for me UTM.

whiston01 I'd go with that unless Robertson is fit, if so in for Wood. I thought Newell at QPR had his best game this season. As soon as Taylor runs himself out get Williams on. Do I know my stuff or what after Cheltenham. For a £10 level stake I showed a £130 profit. MM you'll never beat me. Stay up Frogs arse! I put some studying in for Cheltenham. I don't go on I know someone called so & so then I'll tip that. I went on the Racing post site & attheraces site for imformation. I watch all the big NH races in this country so I go on what I see. I need some help with the Irish form cause can't watch Irish racing now since it switched to what was called Racing UK.

For me, Robertson at left back if fit,. Jones if not. Crooks for Towell. Williams for Taylor. Gwru, you've been having a nice chat with yourself on your Cheltenham thread. Can it stay there?

smiler this site is for everyone not just what you want. Cheltenham festival is the only meeting in the year I'll tip every day. I enjoy horseracing especially NH horseracing. I'm not a trouble causer or gamble for the sake of it. Nobody on this site says anything about much. Could do with livening up. But if you want it just for you. What you like that's up to you. I can't stand motor sports or rugby but I don't object to anybody posting about them. I just won't say anything in reply about what I'm not interested in.

Its just that this thread is about Norwich, and there's a different one about Cheltenham. No offence meant.

I don't get this we played well we still lost we have got to drag results out of games like this I understand 3 main players missing today one I will not mention his name as I said last week away next 10 days raising his profile with Wales we are the ones that suffer. Good result at QPR but we don't push on still think we lack a bit of quality to keep us up international break I an going for a lie down.

I thought we were excellent today from start to finish. Norwich's play acting and time wasting was an utter embarrassment, but setting that aside they are clearly a good side. Some of our passing today, particularly in the first half, was as good as its been all season and a pleasure to watch. Disappointing to lose but no shame at all in it. Play like that every week and we will get plenty more points.

Agreed Smiler the lads put a real shift in & I'm proud to be a Miller tonight. Norwich were OK but certainly not the best team to visit NYS this season, their repeated dives & playacting certainly kept the referee & linesman amused anyhow ahead of this evening's slap up feast at Delia's. Most biased officials of the season without a shadow of doubt.

I don't know about you Brad, but I thought a blatant dive was a yellow card offence. Apparently not if you're top of the league. Scandalous.
