Fair play to Warnie

Who would have thought it, he's got a plan B, brought back Ihekwe from the cold, packed the midfield And played 2 up top. Decent point that we'll done all.

Took Warney all season but think he's realised Forde & Taylor aren't the answer. Wait while Williams & Newell are back then we might be able to get at teams. I can't see a goalscorer in the side. We are going have grind our way to safety. Still think it's a poor championship this season. Sheff U up there & Bristol C in the play-offs tells me it is so it must be dire at our end of the table. Gives us hope there'll be 3 worse sides than us come the end of the season.

If we want a striker there is Darren Bent heard he is looking for a club playing for us has got to be better than talking rubbish on Sky.

Who would have picked that team at Millwall not any of us armchair experts when your job is on the line you need players who are going to put a shift in for you. Just got to hope we can get a fit squad that's going to make or break us never know we might even get some of our shot shy forwards scoring a few goals.

I hope he keeps playing that formation could be a winning solution with Williams and Newell fit playing or as options on the bench

I think it suits us to have three centre backs. We have plenty of options for a midfield three. I can see how it might work. My concern would be the wing backs. Mattock and Jones are really conventional full backs and we might just end up with a back five. Not sure they offer enough attacking threat. Could the likes of Forde and Newell play as wing backs? Its one for Warne to ponder.

I'm ok with Mattock at left wing back, he can get forward put a good cross in. Right wing back Jones possibly in away games but at home when he's fit can Williams play there? Couldn't have Newell as a wing back. If he is fit & on his game he's a threat on the left wing especially in home games. Scoring goals is our problem. Yates? Vassell is he fit? Taylor could it be his best position?

Rodak

mattock Robertson Wood Jones.

Ajayi

towell crooks. vaulks

vasell smith

This was my team before kick off.

Most of the fans were a fair way in front of warne and I find that a bit odd.

His language has now changed to the same language we have been beating the drum with.

ample room to make the side look very different IF he will use some attacking options. The reason he got stuck is that he fell upon the safety first philosophy and got addicted to it thinking a point was good and expecting a 3 pointer to drop in the bag every now and then.

We're coming the stage of the season were it counts. We've got to be spot on with the team selection/formation. 3-5-2 is a way of getting 2 up front but whose the goalscorer. Vassell from what I've gathered didn't pull any trees up in the reserves this week. Got to hope that Yates comes good. Also Right wing back, not convinced about Jones getting forward. Forde could suit his game. Ajayi is a centre back, emergency midfielder.

My side against Wigan:

Rodak

Ihiekwe Ajayi Robertson

Forde Crooks Vaulks Towell Mattock

Yates Smith

I have said before that 5 3 2 style could suit Forde I'm hoping that he keeps faith with that formation. Bit puzzled about the comment on vassell. The only thing he isn't fully fit and doesn't want to injure himself further

hoping yates comes good is a worry, we have a perfect foil for smudge in Ball, we are putting our survival at risk over Warnes pride and I am sorry that is inexcusable

Disagree again. Da Ball too lightweight. Yates not sure about but of the two sooner have.

You really don't like Warne at all do you Derby?  He sent Yates out on loan but has brought him back and played him.  he sent Ihiekwe out on loan but has brought him back and played him.  There could be any number of reasons for Warne not bringing David Ball back.  Perhaps he just doesn't think he is good enough (he hasn't pulled many trees up at Bradford).  Perhaps David Ball doesn't want to play for us.  Why do you jump to the conclusion that 'Warnes pride' is the obstacle?  Is there any evidence for that?
