I know a lot of people will be calling for the manager to go but the problem we have is down to money.Saw Warney give his interview last night and he looked a very worried man if I was the chairman I would take some of the pressure of him and guarantee his position for next season we need a long term plan sacking the manager is not the answer we have to accept with our finances we can't compete at this level.
Personally l am not concerned about going back into div1 rebuild the squad try to bring some young players through we are not in any debt that is the main thing.
In the managers defence injuries are taking there toll just got to hope we can do some business this week.
I am not a happy clapper just trying to be positive I had my moan last night.
Where I go for a drink my beer has gone up by10p per pint now that is something tò complain about.
It seems lots of people think Vyner is to blame for yesterdays poor performance and he is one of the main reasons we are fourth bottom at present. He is a young lad who is being asked to play out of position in a division that is just a bit beyond him at present.
I do not think he was as bad as the two central defenders yesterday. For their first goal the ball was played quickly past Vyner where Ajayi was then turned inside out and the ball cut back into the box where a rushing midfielder had loads of space to bury it. This was the pattern for most of the game with both Ajayi and Robertson not able to close people down, a midfield which was passed around and in all honesty a final result which flattered us. At 1-1 we had a glorious chance to go in front with Robertson hitting the goalkeeper from close range and Ajayi missing the rebound from six yards out. For our second goal i think it was Vyner who sent in the good cross.
This was Brentfords first away win which i think is worrying for us because they were better in all aspects of the game, yet in other away games they haven't managed a win ! We were without our best attacking options when Williams joined Newell on the injury list. Its very worrying times because i do not think Warne sees another option to the style he is playing. One up front , long balls, pick up the pieces, try and contain etc. My worry is i think he is probably correct because we do not have the players to play the sort of style we saw from Brentford yesterday. Our only saving grace is the likes of Ipswich and Bolton are as bad if not worse than us. Lets hope Reading fail to find the killer instinct that is missing from them and Wigan continue to fall. I honestly feel it will be difficult for us to stay up but not impossible. I think around 43 pts will be enough to stay up,but how do we get to that figure? Good luck Warney. Up The Millers
Yesterdays result is all down to poor management, a coward of a manager that would prefer to work in a 1960's hippy commune than lead a group of men. Poor team selection, awful tactics with no plan B he even admits that on the interview. 5 CBs in the squad and he still will not try 3 at the back with wing backs, he is scared of his own shadow. Those players with Evans as manager would not have collapsed in that way against a team that had already beaten them 5-1. Warne is not a trench fighter he is a classroom manager and he needs to accept his limits and bring in an experienced old school coach instead of his social buddies. Brentford beat the first game of the season by playing wide with wing backs and diagonal balls, at the time warne said we were too narrow. Yesterday the same happened and he set us up narrow and deep, that has NOTHING to do with TS spending and everything to do with tactics and coaching. Something needs to change and PW needs to realise that fans are fed up with his softly softly man management tactics.
Forget about playing 3 at back with wing backs. That's a specialist formation. You can't change to that overnight. We've got to play 4-5-1 but what we need is the other striker to be able to play on the left. Yesterday Vyner & Taylor were exposed. Replace. Also in midfield we have no pace. What about trying Yates there with Vaulks & either Towell or Crocks. Do agree Warney has got toughen up & make decisions. Our players you don't think of them like your children or pets. Disposable no's that's all they are. When they can't do the job they are payed to do move them on.
You cant do that overnight you say............but you can do it if you actually train and practice it as a plan b instead of one trick pony warne. He needs help and the board need to tell him that either he gets someone to help or he goes. This set up next season will be a bottom half team because the best players will leave in the summer
Totally agree we don't seem to have a plan b
Warne tactics haven't changed so teams no how to set up.against us as we always play narrow and deep.
The one man up front isn't working as we don't get up.quick enough to support him.
Why because they are in my opinion bee. Drilled not to
Sort it Warne please
Who would be a manager easier to sort Brexit out than Rotherham.
I know it's going over the same ground systems stats will not work if you don't have the talent or the bottle. When I heard the team that was playing yesterday no chance we can't beat a team that hasn't won away all season if we get more than35 points I will be very surprised.
How can we compete in this league on our budget Warneys trying to bring in lower league players and train them up got no choice.
Can't see another manager coming in to work on our budget only one I who might do it is Paul Hurst but he is still the same type of manager. Anybody heard of any more players coming these are desperate days.
The system Warne plays has been found out. Yes he may we working with what he has got but that doesn't stop trying a different formation. This can be done in training.
Our budget hasn't helped yes I know small club but that doesn't mean we can't but players.
Taylor our biggest transfer target hasn't delivered
Warne needs to stop.wanting to play nice guy barker was doing his nut on touchline
Vyner isn't a right back so either play.jones or vaulks there now we have crooks.
We could play injuries permitting
Jones ajayi Robertson mattock
Forde crooks towell Williams
Yates Smith
Facts, results, performances, and the response. The management team had no response to the drubbing earlier in the season. PW thinks we should have been 3-1 up at half time. These are truly worrying actions and beliefs.
I noted the interview post Ipswich. Asked if he could have done more in an attacking and positive way, PW flashed angrily and defensively. How!!! He replied. The reporter gave him a very quick breakdown of several changes. Warne, though he had lost the game merely defended his choice.
That's where we are.
Stubborn, Obsessive, and showing signs of too much self belief.
Those who support him must have some ideas how he can regain his mojo.
The team he feels is good enough as he has said on countless occasions. The new recruits are good enough And, his own style has been supported and given free reign.
Where is the improvement. Surely, this is a sport about winning and losing. Underneath this, improvement is acceptable. Then, the authentic relationship between what the manager says and how it actually is and feels is vital to both fans and the team.
All those factors are incongruous. It should not go on much longer without improvement.
You don't feel good or the love when your team and its manager is getting battered and all we are told is you should appreciate the work ethic. That's emotional blackmail. What should be appreciated is how tactically we are a very second class at present and the one trick pony stubbornly continues.
Yesterday really was as bad as a, stubbs performance. Totally unaware of basics and the players looking confused and frustrated and blaming each other. Vyner (poor young lad) turned on every goal and made excuses for his part in it and how others needed to have done something better.
The central defence was hopeless. Shameful attack. Very embarrassing. And an attack that reminded me of barbarians vs the professionalism of Roman soldiers.
It's gone wrong. We all accept cir***stances and context. What I'm not convinced of is how many times "we should have won" and " how close we are, and we should have been 3-1 up. Utterly unbelievable. If ( and its so childish to suggest) we had taken out chances .. Well, if Brentford, west brom, Norwich, Birmingham, Stoke, Swansea, Bolton, .. Its clearly a ridiculous statement, and for someone verbally flexible and upbeat it's a sign of the stress that comes from being found out.
He has a difficult rest of season. I have no real opinion on his staying or going. I'm simply pointing out the plight the team is in-not PW, TS or the players but the fans. Can we believe him and TS any longer when there is little to back that up when we arrive at this level.

Should have been 3-1 up at HT but best in a way we got a lesson. It would have only delaying what needs to be done to the last hours of this transfer window. Might get something done for the Leeds match now. A Right back & a forward who can play on the left priority's. Need some pace in midfield as well.
We were done for before the kick off. Heard PW on Radio Sheffield lauding our opponents and stating what we know about the Championship. Leicester won the EPL on belief and team spirit - we need to tell our players they can compete. Im not sure why we have brought back Yates who isnt this standard and Wiles should be getting 15 minute cameos because he was lost and chasing shadows for most of the time he was on. Playing one up top hoof ball has stopped being effective but its all we know.

.. "The system Warne plays has been found out. Yes he may we working with what he has got but that doesn't stop trying a different formation. This can be done in training...."
Agree 100% HM..
any manager at any level should have a plan B.. not only that but at times when the players have been allowed to play football instead of hoofball... we have actually looked ok against some teams in this league... He needs to try things and the players must be fed up of defending and hoofing it forward.... and we DO need to try 2 up front sometimes despite his belief that this will leave us exposed.. we are losing every game at the moment - so change is required not defeatism...
Plus we need the missing striker before the month end..
one final point - I think we look better when Wembley King Wood is in the team, I don't know what the stats are - but I wouldn't be surprised at all if we've picked up more points when he's in the team, he sees things and cuts out things that others miss.. not to mention he scores a few from set peices...
Here's hoping we can turn it around and keep ourselves above the dreaded drop zone...
Players yes or no. No half pt's who will keep us up Rodak yes Vyner Jones no Ajayi Robertson Mattock yes Williams Forde Vaulks Towell Crooks Wiles Yates Smith yes Taylor Palmer Ihiekwe no Newell when he comes back yes Vassell Potter no Wood Raggett for this season yes.

Seriously wonder what coaching abilities old school Barker brings to the table. His managerial /coaching history is pretty horrendous, littered with numerous relegations. He was however a big mate of the manager !!
What will happen Saturday not looking forward to it another pasting.
Not expecting any new signings coming in save the money for next season at least we can look forward to beating Donny.
