Watching a bit of Blackburn v Newcastle. Lee Probert is reffing - the ref we had against Preston. He was bizarre in that one and he is bizarre in this one. Im sure he is a lovely bloke but he has only the vaguest of grips on the game. I think he is slowly morphing into Trevor Kettle.

Lee Probert and Mike Dean both have history involving The Millers. Some of their decisions have been questionable to say the least. However, they have to make split second decisions during games. Unfortunately, most of their critical decisions have not been favourable to the Millers even though they have assistant referees at their disposal. The mind can be boggled at times.

I know they have a difficult job and players conning them, and I really don't doubt their intentions, but in both our game and the one tonight Probert was just odd. It seems to take 10,000 shouting at him for 10 seconds to stop the game for an obvious head injury before he does it. He did it in both matches. He seems to let blatant fouls go and punish minor contact. Truly baffling.

Not concerned about refs wait until this VAR comes in only any good for tv so the so called experts can carry on with there usual load of waffle. Us paying supporters will not no what the hell is going on that many stoppages. I know the present system system is not perfect but at least the game moves on at a fast pace. Just accept the refs in charge even when he is wrong he is right. How many experts could ref a game only one expert I have seen on tv the late Jimmy Hill footballer ran players union qualified ref manager now there was an expert.
