...Chucks Aneke...

In answer to splinters question on a separate thread, " did Aneke score against us " ?  Yes he did. Big black lad, somewhere around 6ft 3'', strong, powerfull, technically an excellent player. Can be used as a target man although he looks much better as an attacking midfielder. He's a product of Arsenal youth system. Bolton were looking to sign him in the summer but the deal didn't materialise.

Richie Barker will know all about him, Richie was Caretaker Manager at MK when C.A. was recovering from his knee cruciate injury which he suffered somewhere towards the end of 2015. He also tore a hamstring in March 2017 that kept him out for almost 3 months. This lads done well, he's  done his Football - specific - Rehab programme and physically and phychologically he's back to his best. He won the player of the month for October.

If it's true he's out of contract in the summer of 2019 and MK don't have an option on his contract for another 12 months then this lad will have his pick of clubs waiting to sign. MK will be trying to tie him down to another contract if they haven't done so already and it looks like MK are heading back to League 1 with the assistance of Chucks Aneke.

This lads too good to be playing in League 2 !

I've always liked this player. He is big, powerful and technically very good. I think he is way too good for league two, was a top league one player with MK Dons and could cut it on the Championship. Personally I think he would be a very good addition to our squad as an attacking midfielder/second striker, and I have heard the same rumour about us being interested, but we all know how hard it is to get transfers done even if the rumour is true. All it will take is for one other club in our division to be in as well, and we are up against it. Hopefully the Barker connection will count for something.

Just had a look at him. Looks like he favours his right foot but his left foot isn't shoddy. Way we set up would like someone who can play on the left but get up in support of Smudger. Like look of him. Do the business early before someone else nips in for him. Right back also priority.
