According to the South Wales Echo, Swansea winger (or should that be whinger?) Daniel James is learning to get used to the rough treatment from players and fans alike that he gets during away games, and that he suffered at Rotherham. Now I think that we can all agree that Swansea were a pleasure to watch and that the young man James is an exceptional talent. However, I saw him get fouled twice - once when Vaulks got booked for a clumsy but hardly brutal foul and once when Taylor clipped his heels tracking back (the classic tangle of legs). I also saw James (1) blatantly dive which on another day would have got him a booking and (2) openly goad the home supporters at close quarters. My advice to Daniel James is that the history of the game is littered with players who had a lot of talent and failed to make it for one reason or another. Get your head down son, thank your lucky stars you didn't play in the era of Tommy Smith and Norman Hunter, and learn to be a good professional as well as a talented individual.
You're right Smiler - James probably had the least physical game possible as none of our players could catch him! As for goading the home supporters, both James and Naughton did the same thing but were notably absent from the North stand at the end of the match!!
