Why does getting only 8,000 gates stop us getting championship proven players?
Unless you are meaning they wouldn't find it appealing playing in front of small gates. Financially people through the turnstiles play little or no part in the big picture. Sheff Utd average around 24,000 and Bournemouth about 12,000 but it was Bournemouth who paid the 12 million to get Brookes. Bournemouth got the clout through Sky money and that is what calls the tune.
We won't get bigger crowds because the ground is simply not big enough. I know many people who don't go because there aren't enough decent seats available, especially if a few of you want to go and sit together. Having to queue for ages and accept whatever is a offered if you make a late decision to go has turned off lots of floating supporters. A major mistake by the Chairman who i believe has regretted the inability to cater for far more visiting away fans.
£750k Kiefer Moore, 14 goals for us last season younger than proctor and smith and he would have had 3 against Bristol
Moore and Proctor are both 26. Smith turned 27 yesterday.
Moore's scoring record in League 1 is very good. In the Championship it is quite poor.
Barnsley were a Championship club with a chance of staying up when they outbid us for Moore. We were a League One club with a chance of getting a playoff place. They had a bigger budget and could offer bigger wages. For a player with no particular allegiance, they must have looked a better bet.
I don't dislike Kieffer Moore but I am not at all convinced that we would be a better side in the Championship with him than we are without him.

Regards last 2 posts. Ground not being big enough. Should have put seats for another 2,000 in the East stand. Found a way of keeping fans separate when we need to use bottom end for away fans. How many are we talking about who won't come because they can't sit together ect… To justify extending the ground got to be I would say at least 500 more. At the moment be lucky if there's 100. Newness as worn off. People want progress not drifting inbetween the championship & league 1.
Kieffer Moore I'd have back before any striker I can think of we could have a chance of getting. No more than Barnsley paid for him, on championship wages the going rate for a £750,000 striker. Roth U & Kieffer Moore are a fit.
