FLU JAB

Just on RUFC main site the players and staff are having flu jabs a good thing with injury crisis an outbreak of flu is the last thing we need. Have just been to my local surgery to book mine I have got to wait until 20th November to get it they say short of supplies how are they sending it by mule train this is 2018 not 1818. No wonder the NHS struggles in the winter with my luck I will go down with the flu a week before i'm due to have my jab. I bet our Royal Family and MP's and the rest of the hangers on have already had there's.

Never had a flu jab and had never had the flu, I was being a bit arrogant thinking I had a natural immunity…..Until January this year when I caught that Aussie flu, I thought I was dying and lost two stone. Was 2 weeks in bed and about six weeks after that to really recover. I think I'll be having the jab from now on.

Ive had the proper flu like Towwdlad a few times (in bed for 1-2 weeks on average) and pneumonia. Not at all pleasant for anyone at any age.

I usually get mine each year via my Job but off work currently so got it at the GP. Very surprised that I got it within the week of asking. Another postcode lottery perhaps?
