Towell injured
2 nil down after 25 minutes we have injuries but that we are paying for the total lack of investment this season from the board.
We can not be a credible championship side on a league 2 budget Tony Stewart then comes out and says he wants premiership what planet is the guy on I'm so effing mad
Watch this space ajayi will be sold in Jan with Tony saying funds available which we will use to get loans in to replace manning and ragget Tony won't spend on players who he sees as a cost
So we only have 3 strikers 1 injured 1 playing through pain barrrir and 1 on bench and what did the club to send out ball on loan so we won't see him back, the other two defenders out for season loans
Having The international break means only towell proc and wood can get fit that's if towell and ajayi come back ok
Knowing our luck ajayi and wood will both be out injured
Da Ball wouldn't make any difference. Ihiekwe not even a league 1player. Dom Ball only player we've loaned out good enough but not for Warney. Won't get anything with Taylor in the side. Palmer also. Williams is a winger. Vyner should have started as I said at RB. Jones moved to CB. Vaulks into midfield. Time to move Wiles up the pecking order in front of Taylor Palmer Forde.
I was just stating a fact with our injuries
3 nil down
This is getting a joke
Cant fault warne for this he is making do with what bargain basement stewart budget lets him have
As a fan who.pays i have the right to have a go at stewart and his lack of percieved investment in the club.
We must be in the **** as big screen show no sign of working again anytime.

Just as in 2016/17 we were relegated before a ball was kicked. I love our players, they ALWAYS put a shift in & battle for everything & the two points we gained v Stoke & Bristol City were remarkable given the horrendous injury situation facing the club but...……….
The FACT remains that the woefully inept recruitment structure at the club & lack of ambition at the top WILL relegate us despite Warne's heroic efforts. I'm obviously down & deflated right now but I'm starting to think that the Wembley win will turn out to be a very enjoyable waste of time.
I know our problems but what I was trying to say is we got away with it against Bristol City playing Palmer Manning Williams in midfield. No way was it going to work in a tough away game. Hope we have our Centre backs returning in two weeks. I'd like to see Vaulks Towell Wiles in midfield.
Huge mental barrier with these away games. The lads are clearly trying but we can’t keep trying to tread water and keep the score down. Our home performances have proved we can be capable at this level so why not use the same approach away?
Oh and well done on Kyle Vassell getting a call up for Northern Ireland, just hope him and Towell come back unscathed especially after being injured.
Listened to Ronnie Moore on radio dee dar and he has been to every away game in his opinion we seem to timid. At home we seem to take the game to the opposition. We still haven't got a goal scorer maybe Proctor if we can get him match fit I wish him all the luck in the world after his injury.
Three seasons ago Matt Derbyshires goals went a long to keeping us up at the moment I don't know where the goals are going to come from away from home
It is frustrating but what can we do? People talk about us investing to compete but bringing in a couple of expensive signings won't transform us. We might improve a bit technically but the wage difference would damage the one thing we have got which is a togetherness and team spirit. Truly, we would need tens of millions to make us a safe mid table Championship side. My mindset is that I expect us to struggle but will get behind them 100% while ever they are giving 100% which I think they unquestionably are doing. Its important that we move on quickly from defeats like today and re-set for the next battle ahead. The break now is very timely. Keep the faith.
warne has no balls we saw that wednesday night and every championship away game he has been in charge. we need to go down attacking. he is a good guy that is doing his best with his great group mentality but he has not been backed by the board. end of the day we all knew it would take a miracle to stay up, TS lives on planet zog with his premier league rubbish. Change tactics away from home and attack attack attack
We started ok and were possibly the better team for the first 15 mins without really threatening much. The Brums first goal came from a corner where we left the striker on his own beyond the back stick, possibly Jones should have been nearer him but the head at goal should have been dealt with by Rodak but somehow it went in. Then before we had time to collect ourselves the game was over as they made it 2-0 after Rodak spilled a shot.
Birmingham, a strong no frills side that gave us no room in midfield. The opposite of Wednesday when Bristol gave us loads. Their third goal was a well taken free kick. We brought on Vassell early in the second half for the ineffectual Newell and he gave some urgency and a threat which we hadnt had. He created the chance for Taylor to score. Wiles came on for Manning with about half an hour left and the lad did well. Looking neat and tidy and got the ball moving a bit quicker. His time will come this season. Just give him more time. These 15-30 mins are helping his development.
Derbymiller states that T.S lives on planet Zog. Well thats his opinion. He thinks we have attackers who can go away and attack and win games, please tell me who they are. Vassell made a bit of difference to our attacking threat, but we have grafters who make life difficult and frustrate and im afraid thats our best option on the budget we have. We lumped the ball up to Smith too much yesterday but the midfield had no room to work in and not enough skill to create the space or to give them problems when we had possession. The effort our lads are putting in is commendable and is giving us some hope of staying in the division. I agree with Derby that T.S has to give P.W some money in January to give him some hope and to put some freshness into a squad that could be on its knees by then. Surely our injury crisis will have eased soon and that also will give us some fresh legs.
Only seen highlights. There 1st 2 goals question Rodak. He's got to get the basics right starting with only punching when there's no other option. But I'm not calling for Rodak to be dropped cause that side that started yesterday wouldn't have put much resistance up to a powerful Birmingham side. Derby attack attack attack what with? We've got to play 4-5-1 to compete. Hoping Robertson is fit for the Bolton home game. Rodak; Jones Ajayi Robertson Mattock; Williams Wiles Vaulks Towell Vassell; Smith for a must win game to keep us out of the bottom 3 in a few games time. Middlesbora away after that, away games don't come much tougher.
