I'll be happy with any team PW selects as long as he plays Ajayi in front of the back IV and neither Taylor or Newell are in the starting XI?

totally agree glenn about ajayi in front on the back 4 but with robertson and ragget injured, ithiewe do ball out on loan its  either play ajayi there or its a choice of jones or onarise there

i with you on taylor impact squad player at best

newell on his day is a class player and again is good as a sub to come on

I totally disagree regards Ajayi in midfield. He'll get found out against these better sides. He's a Centre back. I'm hoping Vyner going to come up to this level but it's got to be now. Agree about Taylor, sooner have Forde on the bench.

Rodak

Vyner Ajayi Robertson or Wood Mattock

Williams Towell Vaulks Manning Vassell

Smith

HM - I hadn't heard that Robertson was injured - what's the news?

Hear what you say T71 - but give me a better RUFC player who can play in front of the back 4, break down play, win high balls and remain as composed as Ajayi.

Warney should have thought of that when he got his squad together. Vaulks will have to do it. He can do more when he gets the ball + he's got a goal in him.

'Vaulks can do more with the ball'. Really? I haven't seen it. Ajayi is bigger, quicker stronger and better on the ball than Vaulks. Vaulks does have a good shot in him, and a good leap. Right centre back is a problem. I would rather see Vaulks play there and Ajayi in midfield than the other way round if push comes to shove. If everyone but Raggett is fit:- Rodak: Vyner, Robertson, Wood, Mattock: Ajayi: Williams, Towell, Manning, Vassell: Smith. If Robertson isn't fit then Vaulks in for him. Not fussed whether Smith or Proctor starts up top.

He obviously did think of it and like most other people thinks that Ajayi is a great prospect as a defensive midfielder!!

Ajayi was an emergency midfielder. I'll go with it if Robertson is fit. Vaulks at Right back. Vaulks has got to play, we'd miss his presence. Apart from the fact he's a star for us.

Rodak; Vaulks Robertson Wood Mattock; Williams Towell Ajayi Manning Vassell; Smith

Regarding Jones. Don't we ever learn. When was the last time we signed an experienced player that's worked. Jones didn't play at all last season, doesn't take much working out he's not going to be fit & at his age not going to get fit. Same as Potter before him. Blackstock Wilson Collins ect… same. Not bothered if it's being agest I wouldn't give contract to a player over 27. Wood was 28 when we signed him but he's the only experienced player that's kept going.
