That is bad news for Raggett and for RUFC.
Not sure Ajayi will play centre back. I still believe Warne sees Ajayi as the only option for holding midfield. I agree with him because he is the only one who can tackle in that position. Its who will he pair up as centre backs? Will he play two left sided players in Wood and Robertson? Will he give Vyner a chance at centre back? Will he give Vaulks a game at centre back? Will he play Jones in that position if he is ever going to get another game. A very bad time to lose Raggett. I think he will go with the two left sided players but i have to say i have massive worries about that combination especially as it will put extra pressure on Vyner at right back if he keeps his place.

Jones to the rescue ?! From what i hear,very much doubt it. Surely with his experience Mattock could temporarily play right back. Then stick with Robertson at left back and Vyner and Wood as centre backs. Not ideal but.........

Tend to agree about Onarise. Although not seen a lot of him,it looks like Warney didnt fancy him at Div 1 level never mind championship. A strange/panic signing. Where does this love in with Dom Ball come from? Had a torrid time in the few games with us, sent back with an attitude problem from a loan deal and just about holding a place down with Aberdeen. Cannot see the evidence that he is a championship player.
Its very early days to be judging Vyner. Would we have said the same about Emmanuelle ? Started first few games with us ,then picked up an injury in Charlton game i think. He returned to the team in October but was left out after he played in 3-3 draw against Oxford. He then came back in but lost his place after 1-1 draw at Donny. It wasnt until mid December that he became a regular. Its not fair to say if Vyner was good enough he would be playing at Bristol City. Are you using that same argument to say Emmanuelle is not good enough for Ipswich because he is out on loan again. I dont think you are because you wnted Emmanuelle hear on loan. I am not sure he would have been much better Than Vyner at this level and Paul hurst definitely believes that. All about opinions but i believe we have to give Vyner some time and some better right sided players in front of him. These young defenders get better with age and experience in most but the very best. Both Emmanuelle and vyner will be better players in a couple of years time. Warney will judge Vyner from game to game and if he feels he needs more time will do the same as what he did with Emmanuelle.
