UP FRONT SMITH AND PROCTOR WITH EITHER VASELL OR BALL ON THE KNOCK DOWN
i m aware we could be hit on the wings but with two up front it means they will have to keep 4 in defense and they cant gang up on smith or proctor as the loan front man

The formation might change from opponent to opponent, but assuming that Warne intends to persist with the 4,1,4,1 formation and assuming everybody is fit my best eleven from the available players would be:-
Certainly some differing of opinions here. Hillsborough miller has Price in goal, Vaulks at right back and undecided on Mattock or robertson at Left back. He also plays two up front. T71 plays Hinds at right back who to my knowledge hasnt played a game in the championship but is willing to play him out of position. Then Smiler leaves Vaulks out of the eleven. Wow, its what makes sites interesting.
This would be my team presuming there isnt any injury problems. news on Raggett seem more upbeat.

Jones and Taylor left out. I have looked up Jones and cannot see where he played a game for Sunderland in the championship. is what i have looked up wrong or was he injured or not good enough last season?

Jones: our head of recruitment said last week at the fans forum before we sign anyone we watch them at least 5 times. Must have been watching all our yesterdays!
