If Ajayi and Wood had

both scored in the second half with their heads, we would have won by 4 goals to Hull's 3 goals and there wouldn't be a stewards' enquiry this Wednesday morning. Both Ajayi and Wood had clear cut chances of scoring. What we've got now is a great deal of unwarranted criticism. Hull weren't that good. We just missed the opportunity to take all three points.

We need to move on and prepare for the next game.

But that's part of the problem - having to score 4 at home to win isn't good

The league tables reads: Played / W / D / L / Pts.....there isn't an "IF" column if memory serves.

No ifs and no buts. My last sentence in the OP reads as follows, 'We need to move on and prepare for the next game'.
Bob's your uncle and granny's your auntie.

Was there but just watched extended highlights. There 3 goals we handed them on a plate. Wood was it 2 games in 3 days why he missed header 2nd H? Ajayi chance fell to the wrong player, he's not a natural goalscorer but credit to Semi he battled in the build up.

Mattock lost ball for there 1st goal but Taylor hasn't got a tackle in him, Vyner let Irving have freedom of the New York stadium.

Warney's got to own up. Wrong side out. Taylor & Williams same as Forde not up to this level. Vyner same. Put it right against Millwall or it's going to be a long way back.

Just for balance T71, I thought Williams was probably our best player in the first 45. IMO he is an asset in the Championship and we've not seen enough of Forde this season to write him off.

Forde & Taylor couldn't hack it in this league last time, won't this. Williams were he played last night mostly on the left not good enough. Play him on the right like he did a Wembley yes he's one of our players who can do a job in this league.

Forde could hack it against Ipswich when all their players were standing off him.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Wasn't it Forde who crossed the ball for Smith to score against Ipswich?
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Forde cross the ball from the left side of the pitch?

If you read what I say I'm mostly right. Williams on the right for instance. Forde & Taylor couldn't hack it in the championship last time, won't this. Forde like Taylor has never gone past on the outside of his opposing full back on the right. Both can cut inside on the left & put a cross in. Think it was a free kick from that left Forde sent in for Smith's winner against Ipswich. We've got Newell & Vassell preferred now on the left. Newell a natural left sided player, Vassell has proved he has no problem sending the ball in with his left foot on the left.
