Rotherham v Ipswich - Match Predictions

Hopefully some lessons learnt from last Saturday's opener.

We should be good to go.

I'm going for 2-2 against The Tractor Boys.

No doubt a slightly different starting eleven to last week.

If not, why not?

Vassell should be first name on  the teamsheet. He looks the more likely to score for us.

COYR!

He strikes me as an Emile Heskie type power house player. Build not dissimilar and watching his UTUBE scores similar goals...lol if you know what I mean. He should be physically fit and sharp so could be a real handful for any defence. Williams to score twice - think this is his season. 0 - 2 MILLERS. The two new twin CB with Jones & Vaulks forming a defencive red coat type square on our 'D' will keep them out. That dream was so good !

I hope it's just 11 players against 11. Warney picks a side to give us the best chance. If he does can see us winning. Know I'm changing my mind but Vassell up front on his own, at least he's a potential goalscorer. Don't want to see Wood Forde Taylor Da Ball in the 1st 11. Defeat is unthinkable, be a long way back even at this early stage of the season.

Made it hard for ourselves my player scores Rodak 7 made a great save and commanded his area Vyner 6 played well Ayaji 7 different player to last sat Wood7 made some decisive tackles Mattock 3 really bad purrington must be awful then Taylor 5 poor Vaulks 6 average game better 2nd half Palmer 6 better 2nd half Newell 6 better when we changed formation Smith 8 scored a goal got no protection from ref Vasell 8 can only get better strong on ball Sub Williams 7 Forde 6 Jones not enough time.

First half Ipswich played a lot of good football without scoring a goal. Second half they seemed to lose their way as the minutes ticked by. Good result for us though. My prediction of a 2-2 draw was well wide of the mark.

Think we were fortunate to come up against a Hursty side. He's not a winner. Ratings Rodak 8 Vyner 7 Ajayi 9 Wood 7 Mattock 6 Taylor 4 Vaulks 6 Palmer 4 Newell 4 Vassell 8 Smith 8

You did say gwru that the Millers needed to sign a striker with size and presence. I asked why you didn't think that Smith and Vassell have size and presence. You didn't answer.

I think on the performance of smith and vassell we should be fine with ball and proctor coming back We need that midfield engine sorting i think palmer will be better with a more skilled midfielder not knocking vaulks but on performances so far he needs to up his game fast
