I'd like Jones as holding midfielder - breaking up and playing it steady. With Raggett to form a partnership...Jones taking the pressure off defence....as the presence of experience.

we cannot play 4-4-2 our midfield are not good enough and will get overrun. I like the idea of a defensive midfielder. i would play 3-5-1-1 have wing backs to give the width pack the centre of the park the number 10 can ply deeper when we havent go the ball to make use be 5-4- 1 when we have we can become 3-5-2

I'd sayJones and Vaulks holding and Raggy as twin CB's. Palmer not that combative. So initially don't concede and carefully grow into the game....I'll tell Ipswich the same so they'll fall in with our plans. I bet they won't just to be awkward...

I'd go 4 - 5 - 1 - 1 and hope the ref's an idiot!

We need to defend like hell a la Warnock. But don't be surprised if the overly sentimental Warne turns out the same team as Brentford !

Don't play players out of position or obviously not championship players. People at the club are suffering from delusions that we have enough quality in the side to compete. Amazed we haven't got anyone even on loan. 4-5-1 Rodak; Vyner Ajayi Robertson Mattock; Williams Wiles Vaulks Palmer Newell; Smith

Just seem a UTUBE of Norwich boss talking Raggett. He said the difference with his old level and the championship is the speed of all things football - other players / speed of thought and actions together with the fact that mistakes ( in this league ) will be punished. So - with Norwich's need to see how Raggett performs in the championship they have sent him here. So if he screws it up he screws up our season and if he does well they'll have him back - thank you very much. I can handle that - let's hope he goes home early....!

'' We'll probably flip between a 4-4-2 and 3-5-1-1 depending on the strength or otherwise of the opposition.''

I posted the above on another thread on 29th July 2018 pre Brentford game. Someone responded asking if I went to Millers games. Lolz.
Let's see what happens against Ipswich.

Rodak; Vyner, Ajayi, Robertson, Mattock; Williams, Palmer, Vaulks, Newell; Smith, Vassell. Nothing to fear in Ipswich. Last week never happened.
