Not like doom merchants one whose turned up 1st defeat in a higher league. Another a complete tool who thinks Stubbs was a manager.

Don't think today whatever side we put out from the squad we have we still wouldn't have got anything from the game. Warney kept faith mostly with last seasons promotion side. Old pals act got to end now. Question can we send Vyner back? he's only on loan. Need a right back we can rely on. Mattock what's he done wrong, a lot worse players at the club than him. Robertson has got to come in for Wood. Taylor Da Ball Forde are no way championship players. Warney needs to get busy this week. Sort Right side out, back & winger. Holding midfielder, Striker. Could be more within loan window. Good to see Wiles get on he's our future along with the likes of Hinds. If they are good enough they are old enough, play them.

Season starts next Saturday.

Today might be a real blessing in disguise. If anyone was in any doubt about the quality of the opposition in this league, then those doubts are now well and truly dispelled. I understand that PW undertook to show some faith and loyalty to the team that got us promoted, but I inwardly sighed with dismay when I saw the team. I will forever be indebted to Richard Wood for the fantastic day he gave us at Wembley, but I honestly thought that his new contract would see him move into a defensive coaching role with the occasional appearance on the bench. I've never really been a Taylor fan, and for him to start ahead of Williams was very disappointing. Personally, I would have kept the majority of the promotion side but augmented it with starts for Robertson and Vassell - they are the future.

Busy week ahead. PW needs to forget last season and put out his best side against Ipswich. We hopefully will see some last minute movement in the transfer market, particularly an attacking midfielder.

All is not lost, we're only 3 points off top spot. However, we very quickly need to instil some Championship confidence into this team and a result next Saturday will go a long way to achieving that.

We need a holding midfielder & a right winger who tracks back but can get forward. We haven't got one. Striker agreed. We're going to have to play 4-5-1 to make us competitive. Same as I thought from the Cardiff game, don't think we have a Right back good enough for regular championship football.

We had a few players today who just didn't or couldn't influence the game, and we were like rabbits in the headlights from off. No disguising it was certainly a disappointing performance. The manager I suspect will be deep in thought about the squad and what else he needs, and who he might get in or move on,.working within the constraints he has. A few of the players need to have a look at themselves and think about what they need to do to be or to become real championship footballers. All of them today were outplayed by their immediate opponents. Happily it is only one away game written off, so no need to panic.

quality showed again first half but maybe the second half today against Ipswich suggests we can get some results.

As previously said by most we need another 2 good loans in the middle with strength and pace.

Both wingbacks look weak right now..I doubt , but hope, we can do better.
