After last night: in's & out's?

Out's Ihiewke Purrington Forde Taylor Da Ball. Got Hinds coming through. All surplus for championship football. Da Ball is nice on the ball but not direct enough.

In's Centre midfield. Right sided midfield. Striker. How Palmer played last night do we need Towell?

Forde & Taylor 2 seasons. Others 1 season. Transfer window closes in two weeks. We are spending no money on fees. Free funds up. Players not good enough for the championship no point them being here.

Purrington last night was put through on the left. He just hasn't got the basic speed.

On the thread, 'Anybody going tonight?', it appears that Taylor has already been written off, by at least one individual, as a Championship player even though Taylor crossed the ball for Palmer to score a headed goal against Cardiff.

The individuals concerned appear to be suffering from selective vision and ignoring reality.
Give all our players a chance before throwing freaking stones!

Last night Palmer looked a different player. Confident at last, keep it going. Taylor that's all that that he did cross for the our 1st goal. It was a friendly. There was no cover in the build up to the goal. After that he & Forde never looked like getting past there opposing full back.

palmer has the goods that seems totally clear to me.

the other players we know and love will be given and have been given fair judgement. personally one or two I would keep in a perfect world but money and resources (especially time) talk.

A most entertaining game where everyone played a part. Very pleasing albeit a freindly but the team ethic / football played was of a good standard. Playing like that we are going to have a fighting chance. The mystery is the bounce-back-ability when we go one down. The Wembley high point for me is the consistency of play before / after Shrewsburys goal - shape - tempo - attitude was maintained - no panic which shows maturity and reflects well of the manager. The squad needs tweaking now instead of wholesale buying....like it. Love the natural balance of the new defence and it's flexibility. Give everyone a chance to shine and tweak it again the next window. I'm sold - don't think we could have done much better so it's sing your heart out for the lads time...ALL OF THEM !

Based on Cardiff and signings to date with fingers crossed for 2/3 more....Rodak being THE one for me. All previous posts being acurate at the time of posting....we left a poor league and Shrewsbury were dissapointing....but Cardiff game was different - the squad is better and with more depth - favourites not visible and newbies balanced the team. Season tickets bought - come on down!

Thursday night is drinking night so beware! Just looked on MM one who used to rate me is singing the praises of Forde. Forde will never be a championship player. Move on. Billy Jones? hope he wasn't fully wound up cause full backs can tackle!

If season started this sat' taking into account it's Brentford away. 4-5-1 side Rodak; Vyner Ajayi Robertson Mattock; Williams Wiles Vaulks Palmer Newell; Smith

I think Fordie needs an injection of confidence and some room to play ! His problem is he allows every defender to square him up and he's no Waddle who beat folk for fun by squaring them up dropping a shoulder and waving goodbye....Fordie needs to run at defenders and "whip it in" at the FIRST opportunity.....and into a dangerous area - then he's done his job. And the strikers would appreciate that and get accustomed to the early ball.....he's too rigid....whip it in son - easy and early....
