Agree with Brad, did ok for us but was off when the opportunity arose; can't blame him I suppose, the grass is always greener, but it does leave a glow of satisfaction now we're there and he isn't. He didn't do all that well up the road anyway in the Championship did he?
As for JCH glad he's gone. An absolute waste of money that pair were, JCH and Bowery, Anyway he's gone and good luck
Regards kieffer Moore was told by someone who reports on Roth U he was on £9,000 a week last season at Barnsley. Can you blame him going for more money, anyone would do the same. He did well for us, we got best out of him. I'd have him back but are we going to have certain players on higher wages than others? Think we've got to pay the wages to certain players to compete in this league & not forget our players already here. Vaulks should be on whatever the top earners are on at Roth U.

KM will prob feel he will have earned playing in the Champ and no doubt had a get out clause in his contract should Barnsley have been relegated?
I'm not sure about taking him back even if we made a tidy profit, he'd be looking to jump ship again should we follow the very real prospect of following Barnsley's path. We don't need that. We've got young hungry players for a reason, so that they can be with us for 3-4 years grow and develop, be it if that means a yo-yo or 2, they will become better players for it in the long run. Player**** their peak price in their mid to late 20s, i'm sure we know that and sure we'll be looking to make that a model for us - that should we get 1 a season who has developed through us and become a sensation, we'll be looking to cash in, with younger versions coming through on the conveyor belt.
Warney is back off his jollies saying we will sign around 5 players. Does that include loan signings? Another thing about loan players if they are brought in as 1st choice players wouldn't get them from the same league so they can play in all the games.
I'm looking at positions that need filling min' no' of signings. Keeper 2 Right backs I centre back 2 if we don't bring Dom Ball back. I winger 1 could be 2 midfield players 2 strikers.

If he's only signing 5 players, he must be assuming we can re-sign some of our loan players, otherwise it ain't enough...
Rumours of us putting in close to a million pounds for Moore. Personally would have him back and Warne giving him a freebie for the Scunny play off game was no coincidence.
Warne made a comment not long ago that he would be talking again to a couple of players who said they would have signed for us last season if we were in The Championship, and he said that now we were he would see if he could persuade them to look again. It would make sense if Moore was one of them.
I would definitely welcome him back. I don't hold it against him for one moment that he went to Barnsley. His parent club recalled him from the loan with us and advertised him for sale to cash in. They wanted the best price they could get and Moore wanted the best wage he could get at the highest level possible. No problem with any of that. It wasn't a good fit for us in January, but it looks a better fit now so why not?
There are usually risks with any new player coming in around whether he will settle in the area, fit in with the style of play and club ethos and the existing group of players. With Moore we don't have those risks. The only question is whether or not he would improve us.
We are definitely in need of another forward (no disrespect to Smith who was terrific - he may also have a big part to play for us) and based on Moore's time with us last season I think you would have to say that he would.
If and it's a big if Kieffer Moore came back it would be a huge boost. Michael Smith has been fantastic but will need support and it's a big ask to rely on Jamie Proctor to hit the ground running in a tough league after so long out.
Hold no grudges with him going to Barnsley, they paid the most money and he wanted to test himself in the championship.
Said to be signing Ben Godfrey Centre back on loan from Norwich. Will need cover when he can't play against his parent club. Warney get Dom Ball back, you know it makes sense. Let Ihiewke go. Godfrey Ajayi Dom Ball with Wood as back up will be good enough to go to war with in the championship.
Chairman is saying could be up to 7 signings. Sounds about right. That will be including loans. Keeper Right back Centre back could be 2, one who could cover Right back. Winger Midfield player Striker, possibly 2. That's 8, min' requirement if we are going to compete in the championship. Clark Robertson out of contract hope it's true, would be a good start. Remember we have Wiles, Hinds coming through. My glass with the right signings is half full for the coming season.
Left back is last on our priority's. I don't mind Mattock, got Purrington as back up with Hinds coming through.
No 1st choice keeper, no Right backs. Only really Ajayi good enough at Centre back. Only Vaulks good enough in midfield. Only Williams & Newell good enough on the wings. Only Smith good enough up front. I'm talking 1st choice players. Anybody see it different.
