As Brad says, bit quiet yet as Warney and Barker play snap over a Pimms by the pool

Not a rumour as such. Just noticed Jon Flanagan is leaving Liverpool. A Right back, we need two Right backs. Played at Bolton end of last season. An option.

Ben Godfrey may be a target. On loan to Shrewsbury from Norwich last season.

Sean Raggett may also be a target. Has been on loan to Lincoln from Norwich.

Other than filling vacant positions left by loan returns can you see us not doing anything and seeing how the first 2-3 weeks pan out before striking before the window closes - if need be?

Still say Jonny Taylor up top - he can solve our striker issues

I think we will see the players start to be signed goalie in first week of July. Because Warne will want the main players signed preseason so he can get them into his fitness regime ready. Look how fit they were in extra time shrews were flagging

We've got to get players not good enough now or now not good enough out of the club. Warney will know this, he'll do it his way not in an Evans revolving door way. Ihiewke Potter Forde Yates thinking of to start with. Min' recruitment required a Keeper two Right backs one Centre back if we bring Dom Ball back. One midfield player, a winger & two strikers. Would like Dom Ball back along with Rodak & Towell.

Side looking something like this. Rodak; Another Dom Ball Another Mattock; Duane Holmes Vaulks Towell Newell; Marquis Smith

If not Marquis Kieffer Moore. A fit with us.

Dean Henderson, goalie on loan to Shrewsbury last season from Manchester United. Henderson still on Man Utd's books, however a few championship clubs including Bristol City want to sign him.

I would like to think we have Kieffer Moore in our sights. We've every chance of getting him, here's what The Star said in January:

But Moore insists the lure of the Championship was too good an opportunity to turn down. “Every footballer wants to play at the highest level they possibly can,” stated Moore, who joined Oakwell in a £750,000 move. “I thought that this was the perfect club for me to showcase my ability in the league above".

what is KM s asking price? 1.5 million perhaps!?

He will be on probably better wages than we can offer too...3.5 year deal.

Not going to be an option I think

Henderson would be a good shout and knowing footy its the kind of deal that gets done. Still, PW likes his team all friendly and I dont think Henderson looks like a kind of player that would fit in.

Apparently we've made an initial enquiry regarding Kieffer Moore. I'd have him back.

With Smith winning all the scraps and getting the ball to Proctor who would then thread it through to Moore (watch the 5-0 win over Southend on iFollow) I'm dreaming of two playoff finals in a row.

can you imagine smith and moore playing together?

I guess you can, but is it the way to set a team up?

Be very unconventional due to the risk of too much of the same resource in one area.

Smith to Barnsley and Moore to us? To me to you is always a winner in my book.

Moore is going to cost a min' of £600,000 + min' £8,000 a week. If it's in our budget go for it. If not could get Marquis for less. Regards Smith he's only striker we have at the moment who would start in the championship. Da Ball is a league 1 player. Don't know if Proctor will get back to the player he was even then he was a league 1 player not proven in the championship.

Moore must have been on minimum £10,000-£15,000 per week at Barnsley when they were in the Championship. Not sure if we or Barnsley are prepared to pay that kind of money now. We will see.

UTM!

An absolute NO to me for Kiefer. He went to Oakwell for the money & Championship football & oh dear it didn't go too well did it? If he wants to come back because we got promotion ***k him. Someone will remind me what we did with Pollitt all those years ago & how well that turned out but I don't care.

Coventry City have agreed to re-sign Jonson Clarke-Harris. JCH will join the Sky Blues permanently on 1st July from Rotherham United.
