Is anyone ever so slightly worried?

About lack of activity on the transfer front? I know it's only 11 days since Wembley but a lot of clubs are already signing players (EVO has his scattergun out @ Posh for example). I'm of the opinion that it's better to do your transfer dealings as early as possible to allow the newbies to bed in early.

Not a bit Brad. Warne has a good record in the transfer business and I trust him to get it right again this time around.

Warne not ready to start splashing the cash any time soon. He's waiting on players getting back from their hols?

It is always like this and one always wants to see activity.

brace youself

we are gunna be inked with a dozen targets we have no chance of getting and others whom just appear stage left.

I want to see PW stick to his stated philosophy.

Hungry and passionate players with a point to prove and where possible young.

Our current squad would get relegated no doubt about that.

we all look at various factors when thinking of possible good signings. Currently I think we have 3 players with championship game experience.

With the budget and PW holding the strings I expect players from lower leagues along with fringe championship players.

where else would they come from.

We definitely need to sign up young players who are hungry, passionate and with something to prove. There are so many journeymen out there who may be financially secure but now lack the appetite to sweat blood for any club.

I would be getting a bit worried and impatient in previous few seasons, but as others have said - so far, the new people that Warne/Club have brought in have grafted for the shirt and shown some decent skill.

I'm definitely not expecting many new faces, maybe 4 or 5 signings, plus 2 or 3 loanees, depending on how many of the target loan players from last season we manage to keep.

The fact we have re-signed or extended some of the youth players I think is also a sign that we are trying to build a future plan, not just short term panic...

I've decided I'm going to enjoy this season with no expectations at all - and I've renewed my season ticket, having cancelled it last year due to the abysmal way the club was run in season 16/17.

UTM (for now I'll try and enjoy the World Cup.., hoping that England won't pass their way backwards and sideways out at the first stage...)
