Mattock the cause for the first goal even getting into our area, Purrington is head and shoulders a better player. I think the other central defenders get pulled out of position because they have to cover for Wood like of pace. Also I think Rodak can not hold a ball the first time it touches his hands, why did he put one hand on the ball for the 2nd goal when he could have easily put both hands on the ball and killed the chance.

otherwise I thought we played well, although Palmer should have come off on 70 minutes leave Towell on and bring Forde on for Palmer

Brad - you loose you wrag like the Millwall morons - striking out and punching because they lack the brain power or capacity to let others sound off. Let's make this site "Agree with brad" site. Then leave him to it.

Ignoring the childish insults - looking forward - all the wish lists on here and on the other place
( MM ) are my wish lists...but this is a sounding off site where I'm allowed to freak out and say what I saw and consider sub-standard football !

S****horpe are not a good side and we made them look good at times. And our central defence was simply not at the races.

Please note - no insults - mainly because I don't thint that insults or bad behaviour a reason to go down to that level.

Win loose or draw - that team and defence needs a total rebuild to up our "Quality"....the vast majority are happy because we are on the top of the pile in league one....but being a country boy I know what a pile of ****e looks like.

This is a very poor league indeed - we need to get out of it - or we'll have to get used to beating rubbish teams and be happy with empty victories.

Get out ASAP

Warney has got to prove in this next game & hopefully Wembley he's tough enough to drop the old pals act. Just go on ability. Palmer has been a terrible signing, sooner see what Wiles can do. Everybody knew we'd struggle at centre back but nothing was done about it in January. We are just going to have to go with Ajayi & Vaulks. Bench Wednesday want to see Wiles on it. Ihiewke or Wood will have to drop out. Our bench been same all the season just the same old faces who are not going to change anything.

That's where we have missed the bus this year - strength in depth.

All PW can do is shuffle the pack.

Semi had a nightmare so keep him away from our goal. When he came on ( in front of the defence ) with a remit of spoiler - he relished the roll and did a great job.

Vaulks has to go next to Wood and Wood has to stay put! Wood - wandering and he'll be turned and out run EVERY TIME - but as a sitting defender simply blocking and heading away - his "experience" will see the game through.

The rest did ok - we scored two good goals!

But having to score 3 to win a game is unsustainable

The phrase "Palmer dispossessed" was said far too often - that has to be GONE! Smacks of Smallwood and his new playmates are bypassing him due to his desire to be a WALL - the Blackburn players are visually upset when they pass to him and he gives it straight back to them. Not 100% but far too often.

Palmer needs to feel the heat of a battle - don't dawdle on the ball - the other team wants it !

And Warne is far too happy - comparing the noise if the fans....and only being a little dissapointed - Paul ...."Football isn't life and death - it's more important than that !

When will the hairdryer come out Paul!

Semi does not need an arm round the shoulders he wants two days ( and continuing ) drills of players firing the ball at him from all directions so he can get MUSCLE MEMORY of sorting out those long legs.

Those long legs are dangerous TO US near our goal BUT they can be dangerous to the opposition outside the "D" - his heading will be good too.

If we're stuck with him DEVELOP him as a player and train the mistakes out of him - quick feet exercises essential.

Watched match again my negative points Mattock positioning left wood exposed for first goal Rodak shouldnt have come out so far imo I think the midfield played well Palmer got penalised by the ref on every 50 50 ball . Poor ref Positives points We played well on a narrow pitch They only scored one goal Warne tactical changes worked well But i would have brought on ajayi I would brought forde on for towell What would I change Change wood for vaulks this would give us more pace at the back allowing mattock to go forward or play wood and purrington to shore up the left and play Newell Looking forward to weds full house the lads will have the house bouncing and come Wednesday at 2200 we will be Wembley bound Warne will play 4 4 2 or with either lavery or ball upfront with Smith Newell on left Williams on right Attack attack get them pinned Going forward to next season whether it's league one or championship. We need two central defenders and a defence coach.

Went and it was a tight scrap like all such games are. Playing 1 up top doesn't really suit us and I think maybe 442 and going for it might have been a better choice. Second goal was disappointing and I think we should always keep at least 1 player on the halfway line at corners and free kicks or they load the box with everyone instead of keeping 2 back to cover our guy. Home for and noisy crowd plus better pitch might just see us through. Ihekwe didn't shine but let's not forget S****horpe are a decent team. UTM

Blatant penalty turned down - Shrewsburys "luck" is on show at the moment.

Remember our penalty after 5 minutes at Wembley when Rev's was tripped.....

Ref's are gamechangers....ref telling Hurst off - shut up Hurst - so far the ref is on your side !

Tiffanys...two f's

And, if your wheel nuts are "loose" you may "lose" a wheel. You don't "loose" a game of football.

Did you ever play football, as your expert analysis tends to suggest? If so, fancy a game of top trumps?

You are a cliche riddened armchair expert. Muscle memory lol.

Some people often went  '' all balls out''  and were doomed to failure at Tifanny's. They had no class.

RW often loses the ball during his wild foray 's and that has to be sorted by the manager. I like him but he is costly too.

Deffo drop mattock and Taylor as I think they both are liabilities and I'd feel better going with reliability .

I'm not keen on smith up front but he has done well . I just think we could make more of him with more forward support . I take it Warne has become more conservative in this last third of the season.

Ball has been way off so I'm tempted to play forde. ..but I will leave it to Warne.

Smith's hold up play and ability to bring in others is the best I've seen from a striker at our club for a long time. Unfortunately his ability to find space and be a danger in the box is lacking, I guess if it wasn't he'd be playing higher up. But with Smith if we're going to capitalise from his link up play we need players coming off him who know where the goal is. Taylor does know where the goal is, I don't know why Warney didn't try him as a striker in those last 2 games, its a bit of a gamble to try that now? I think Forde would give better protection and Purrington for Mattack against their counter attack threat and pace up front. But its Warney's call, he certainly has some fat to chew before Wednesday. If Newell could do what he does for 70 minutes he'd get the nod over Williams every time, we all know though that Newell causes more damage coming on for 20-30 mins as a sub, and has the ability to totally change a game.
