Depends what league we are in next season. Championship if we sign him Ball can go. Don't think either would be 1st choice in the next league up.

He's not been released and will still be under contract next season. He has been made available for loan or transfer.

He's not shown any real promise in L1 so I'd pass on him personally - he's been given enough chances. Ball has got worse and I don't know what to think of him half the time - he's usually on his arse. Next year Proctor may be back and we can play two big guys with him and Smith. Let's not start talking targets because we only get ****ed off when there's no money.

Pretty much agree.

We do have a problem up front but I dont think Lavery has the goods, and now is not the time to make decisions. If he scores and wins us the play offs then we can take another look.

A run run run forward with no guile or run for that matter.... pass for me - there are better out there even if we are in league one at some stage we have to improve our stock - giving this lad a contract would not do that.

Full of effort when I've seen him can't fault that. However technically meh, more a product of one of those that get through the academies on a promise than actual something different or spectacular. Might get a career in L2 but can't see much more than that.

But he's a Warne type player.....early nights and green tea and there's a contract to sign.
