Small typo there Hillsborough - S****horpe could go 5th - highly unlikely they will catch us unless they win both their final games and turn around an inferior goal difference. I suspect Scunny will beat Plymouth tomorrow. Plymouth have very limited attacking options and weren't very good on Saturday despite the fortunate result. Charlton's last game against Rochdale is a tricky one. Rochdale have to get a positive result to stand a chance of avoiding the drop and they are a handy side, as we've seen at NYS this year. If all the remaining games go to form, we'll be playing Scunny in the play-off semis - which is fine by me.

Very happy to watch them all scrap it out from a safe distance. At the end of the day over 46 games there isn't much to choose between any of these sides and I don't really mind who we play other than that Scunny is easier geographically. From both sides of the coin, I hope Rochdale beat Charlton.

S****horpe would be ideal for a local game but it won't be a foregone conclusion playing them if so. Just because we've beat them twice means nothing in play off games same as if we play Charlton just because they've beaten us twice is irrelevant.

 Dead right C.

Wednesday beat Huddersfield twice in the league last season and look where that got them in the playoffs!

Absolutely play offs are something else entirely. I'm more bothered about our mental strength than any of the opposition, but then who's to say? - you have no idea how the players will deal with such pressure until they're placed right in the middle of it.

Will be very interesting that's for sure

Just reference them to Burton?

Wigan, Blackburn, Charlton & Plymouth have the infrastructure to survive, us is middle line, Shrewsbury and Scunny haven't a cat in hells chance, that's the reality.

I would agree about Scunny not having a snowball's chance of getting promotion from League One. Stranger things have happened though. As for Plymouth Argyle? They have a very good chance of getting promotion to the Championship. I think that apart from us Plymouth are in with a great shout. The smart money will be on Plymouth regardless of the bookmakers' odds.

Charlton away 1st leg of the play-off semi finals I'd have been abit wary of but looking at the contenders remaining fixtures looks like that can be avoided. We can't meet Shrewsbury till the final. If Warney gets team selection right would make us fav' over 2 legs against Scunny. I'm thinking it's ours to lose, Championship football next season.

It will be away 1230 KO first then night game at home. Thats a long as we finish 4th of course.

After tonight don't see anything about Scunny to be worried about, 1 dimensional garbage, Plymouth could have carried on playing to the World Cup and not scored, they were worse.

Apart from some freak will be

Scunny v Us
Charlton v Shrews

I'm going for an us and Charlton final

Barring freak results on Saturday, the play-off fixtures are all but decided. Only a Charlton win and a Scunny loss, or a Rotherham loss and Scunny victory turning around a 4 goal-difference can change our semi final plans. So, get your tickets for the second 'home' leg from 0900 this morning. It should be a great Wednesday evening on 16th May as long as we can get a reasonable result in the first leg at Glanford Park. The only drawback in playing Scunny is the limited amount of space for visiting fans. If I remember correct, we took just under 2000 to the league fixture. Compare this to the 5000 that we took to Preston last time around. The bonus for me is that Scunny have held on to the brolly that I left under my seat on 10th Feb due to my excitement over our 2-1 victory! I obviously subconsciously realised that I'd be returning to collect it!

I know I am a pessimist Glenn, but Scunny play Bradford at home on Saturday. It isn't a stretch to think that they might win by two or three goals. We might well need to get at least a point to finish above them. Blackpool are in good form. I wouldn't be banking on us being at home on the 16th just yet. Or we could get a points deduction for something, or...

Calm down Smiler - we are where we are in the league because we are the fourth best team. After a season of great football and entertainment, Paul Warne wouldn't let us finish with a whimper - - I'm sure -- almost!

Blackpool & Bradford wont be bothered, us and Scunny wont want injuries - both games to draw
