will be our stumbling block if they reach the League 1 playoff finals along with us. They are so difficult to beat whenever we play them. They are our bogey team. That is my opinion for what it's worth. I really want Plymouth and Sc Unthorpe to start winning their last few games to overtake Charlton in the race to the finals. We need to catch the latter out on one of their bad days. Having said all that I think we can beat them and any other team if we are on our game and have the rub of the green.

PS Andy Haines is the match referee for our home game against Bristol Rovers on Saturday. It couldn't get any better.

I thought that with Preston and thought they were nailed on for the PO's, even after the 1-1 away they had more than enough to turn us over at NYS and they did hit the post twice remember. I think this year it's even more of anyone's to take. It's all about how you deal with the pressure, playing in front of Sky TV, larger crowds, and of course a little bit of luck and or magic (as we know).

Last time we had players that mentaly had what it took, our bunch are much less experienced, younger this time and that could work against us? Having said that, you absolutely do not know how your group will deal with these situations until they're in it. Warney will probably learn more about his players in those 2 (hopefully 3) games than he has done all season.

It will certainly help hitting the PO's with a few goals, wins and confidence behind us - if I were Warney I'd be getting very pally with a sports psychologist right now that's for sure.

Couldn't see many from the side today getting in the 2014 promotion side. Just watched extended highlights from tues. Rodak worries me, any crosses coming in we look in trouble but he's our only option in goal. Our defence isn't that bad. Still would prefer Forde & Newell on the wings. Need a goalscorer. I'd being trying Taylor up front with Smith.

As Exe says, 'if I were Warney I'd be getting very pally with a sports psychologist right now that's for sure.'

That is something Warne and RUFC need to consider if they really want us to return to the Championship.

Charlton won yesterday and will now be the biggest threat in our quest to reach the main objective, the Championship.

We've got to play someone half decent and if it's Charlton so be it. Don't know why everyone is panicking over it tbh.

Charlton are below us and have a lot less points which obviously indicates they have weaknesses; personally I want S****horpe for the ease of away travel midweek! We shouldn't fear anyone at this stage and we are coming back into top form at the right time. Palmer excellent again yesterday

Rotherham 5/2 for promotion...Charlton 9/2..so the bookies fear us more than Charlton.

Views on here or bookies?.....I’m with the bookies!

Scunny will overtake Charlton with their game in hand and fixtures. Nice run home and away - both full houses and cracking atmosphere.

Fingers crossed - good problems to have !
