Evans = Tool

Only he can get a new job and in first public address bang on at length if Brendan Rogers lost his job, in 2-3 years blah blah

I'm sure his bosses were well pleased with that.  The guy has no boundaries does he, funny thing is, he'll crash and burn at Posh - Evans needs to dig out footy manager if he wants to get the Celtic job, its only way he will - complete half wit - Posh fans must be loving it already

Sadly - shrinking violets don't survive in football and he did say he wanted the Leeds job - and he did OK so not a disaster on his CV.

EVO & Paul are a good team..good guy - bad guy....but he's certainly 'MARMITE'.

POSH will have had the EVO treatment when they come to to NYS.....so we'll see a competitive game plan from them at least - that'll be a good test of our management team.

Mind games predicted to start soon....

Paul was / is arm around the shoulder GOOD GUY and EVO was the steaming raging bull BAD GUY.

Good system or players will take the easy way out if they see a moment of weakness. All this "The players all love me" ****e is pathetic in a professional football club where people's careers are at stake. And - more important the team comes first.

I'm not a fan of Evans the man. But I didn't hear many calling him when we won at Wembley or keep us up the following season. His 2nd & last season in the championship mostly terrible signings did for him. But what do you get for peanuts as Kempo says.

See if Warney on what will be compared to the other sides the same budget if we are in the championship next season. Will Warney cut it in the next league up? Got my doubts. See how astute TS is. But whose out there who'll come to us. I can't think of nobody. Nigel Clough?

Evans was very good at getting his players to play percentage football. In fact I bet go down the reck on a Sunday and you'll see a couple of guys who coach their team to do the same thing.

A good manager with good coaches around them get players improving technically, Vaulks & Forde were chopping block fodder, look at them now and that's just 2.

Fergie once said you need respect and fear in equal measure, anything else and you'll fail

Sorry, but you're a profoundly annoying bloke.  What are your doubts based on?  Are you saying that RUFC's budget won't allow them to compete in the Championship or that it will but Warne won't be able to cut it?  And why would it be "astute" for TS to replace a loyal and relatively inexpensive manager if against all the odds he had got us promotion at the first attempt?

I don't believe you can mean much of the drivel that you come out with.  I think rather you're on some bizarre wind up although God knows why.

These two were brought into our club to do certain jobs - they were brutalised under Warne in the championship as was most players - he was useless.

Players have improved this year because they are having the freedom that playing poor sides afford players NOT under the tutoring of Warne.

For God's sake he thinks Yates is a player ffs.

I will answer this for T71 to save him the time and effort.  Here goes.....

' I just say it on what I see.  Not on a wind up.  I just want us to be the best we can be.

I am more right then wrong.  See if I'm not.  Don't know why Jonno didn't get a fair chance (apart from his 78 appearances)

I wish I was still on Millers Mad.  God how I miss it.  It is so unfair'.

Never been on a wind-up on any either site. I go on a long time watching the millers, since 65. Lets see whose right. I have said even though I've got my doubts about Warney in the championship I'd sooner have him than a journeyman manager. Got to be a wheeler & dealer with the budget we have. Only one I can think of. Nigel Clough.

Do we want it like 2 seasons ago the season over in November. I don't see many championship players out of our actual own players in the current squad.

Hillsborough, I have argued before that the root of the problem is anonymity.  When I first came on here my member profile asked for full name and I gave mine.  I was surprised to see subsequently that Andy Monium's full name was apparently Andy M and Kempos was something like Dr Von Fincklewurt.  Smiler is a good bloke but if he thought I was a multi or even Kempo he's way off.  I struggled to open this one account, I'm hopeless with computers, I have only a single PC at home and no mobile devices or phone and my email and home address is easily found through my Academia.edu page.

I share your concern.  I don't want to be unfair to the three people you mention but there's always a nagging doubt when I read their posts.

Kid, just for clarity I didn't say that I thought you were a multi.  I said that for all I know you could be, but I am not bothered either way.  That applies to everyone else on here.  If you say you are not I am happy to take your word for it.  It isn't an issue for me.  I take individual posts as I find them.

Thanks for saying I am a good bloke.  I get the impression that most people on here are decent.

Yes, I'd agree with that sentiment.  In the olden days of gino, stevelmu, deano, gazzam8 etc (note I said olden not golden) I used to post on another site.  I still read it but imo controversial politics, bullying, cliques, point scoring and poor control by the mods has ruined it.  I tried Vital for a while before Exeter set up Banter.  Very nice people but just didn't do it for me...not sure why.

How can I be in Kempo's stable. I can't post on MM he can. They have my email address when I joined this site, that was a few years ago when I joined. Check me out, I'm my own man. Kempo joined this site couldn't get nobody to play his games so he went back to MM.

Problem with this site they need to take the blinkers off. This thread comparing Evans & Warney as managers, can't. Evans has done it, got the teashirt at this level. Warney has achieved nothing.

Think Peterbora will be a big danger in the play-offs. Looking forward to the game on good Friday. Evans as inherited two of the best strikers in league 1.
