Can we ban all this talk about JCH, one its boring to read, and two he's a poor footballer. Anyone would think we'd let Messi go out on loan.

One thing you can't say about Johno he's a poor footballer. Rotherham fans will let a player know if he's not good enough. Rotherham crowd were always for him. Just Warney's style of management which is working in this league didn't fit in with JCH way. My money's still on Johno making it as a good standard in football.

Just been reading MM. Don't know who it is on banter who rates Stubbs or Redfearn, it isn't me. I go on ability. Got it right with Vaulks, jury is out on JCH & Bailey-King but they are not written off, far from it.

I've always thought that JCH has potential. However, no-one has been able to tease out that potential to the max. I hope that he continues to score for fun and he proves many people that they are wrong in their assessment of him. At the moment he has not shown that he is capable of pulling up any trees. We may have to wait quite some time before we see any marked signs of improvement  in his overall game. Most football coaches/managers want to see results on the pitch. Their patience will, at some point, wear thin if a player does not meet the standards required both on the training ground and field of play.

I also believe that the Millers' dressing room is currently buzzing with confidence. Morale must be sky high. The squad players will know that they all have a part to play in the latter part of this season's campaign. The competition to wear a Millers' shirt must be fierce.

Long may it continue.

 You're really missing MM aren't you T71?

I rated Redfearn.  Mr Stewart made a mistake sacking him.

You have said so many contradictory things about so many players that you are bound to be able to say every now and again that you were right about something.  I notice you now want Newell to get a new contract.  A few weeks ago you were saying he could go.

The RUFC jury has definitely returned its verdict on JCH.  He has gone.  Let it go.

Your repeated comments on Bailey-King must be a wind-up.  I wish the lad well, but he has had about 90 minutes of first team league football in meaningless fixtures.  He is quite quick but that is all he has shown up to press.  He went on loan to play in the Conference North and couldn't get a game for the team at the bottom of it.  He has as much or as little chance of making it as any of the current crop of juniors.  Probably less because he is that bit older.

I miss certain posters off MM but if they don't want me I haven't got the noose ready! I didn't rate Redfearn, nobody has given him a managers job since he left us so don't think many if any did.

Were people get me wrong: I can only go on what I see. You going to change your mind about players in a season. Newell wasn't doing it up until recently. How's he's playing now got to offer him a new contract. I don't rate us up front apart from Smith. That won't change.

MM are a very small clique of folk who know that they know it all and insult individuals who have opposing views - backed up by the likes of Frog and Co as they are personal mates.

They ( MM ) are probably adding 2 + 2 and making 5 again.

The support for a total rebuilding of the club from the grass roots of an academy over the 3 year contracts offerred to both Stubbs and Redfearn was our way forward.

Both of those two had a good track record bringing players through the ranks at Leeds and Everton. The Everton connection was idealised by TS when bringing Stubbs into manage the creation of these new facilities. Stubbs had with him two sidekicks who were far better than Redfearn alone to create this new future.

Then - with all the politics of Warnock and older players left on good wages - such as Wood - who was useless in the championship - the defence needed a complete overhaul and those changes were never given a chance - with the panic button being pushed - what both Redfearn & Stubbs - did they get to 14 games.

To rebuild the club's faults - from top to bottom !

So - my contention is that we are back to square one and IF we go up we are no further on that 3 year project that a club of our size needs.

PW and Co are certainly not youth development managers. They are getting results in a very poor league where quality is at a premium.

Long term plans were TS's business plan with NR & AS - but after KJ he changed his business plan to take us down to league one.

The "quality" is absent but Saturday was exactly what TS wanted....but we are ( as a club ) no further up the footballing ladder! We are just a small club that can't afford to go up and will be a YOYO team with Barnsley who have adapted our business plan.

It's the growth in footballing culture / stature that TS threw away by pushing the panic button as if NR or AS had stayed in place I think our academy would be in place now and ( who knows ) we may even have survived in the championship. But PW guaranteed relegation.

Thing is NR & AS were next to useless has managers. TS had to get shut. final.

There isn't a manager in world football that can change a club in 14 games. Pep - with multi- million pound players was given a full season during which City had some crazy results - losing badly. The difference is his team wasn't getting his tactics ?

Can't rubbish individual managers as cheaply as that. Particularly as the politics of our club was wild during this period.

You forget EVO'S brother dissappeared. No player recruitment computer software. Warnock allowing half the squad to leave without suitable replacements. And no money to spend !

If you quote history - quote it with the warts and all.

He was crap....just simplistic....Oh but that MM for you isn't it....
