MOST IMPROVED PLAYER

It was a really good goal too.

You want to judge him on one game and are choosing this one. I would judge him on the 150 or so league games he has played in his career so far. If you made me judge him on one game, I could easily pick the game at Blackpool which was a real opportunity for him but effectively signalled the end of his career with us.

Instead of making a faux comparison with a player who always gives 100%, and is a totally different type of player, you might be asking why the JCH you saw today wasn't seen more often for us.

JCH's performance yesterday was probably the equivalent of his performance for us against Leeds at NYS. High profile, TV coverage, chance to make a good impression to a wide audience, put in a good shift, score a great goal, then slip back into oblivion until the next showcase event.

Most improved player for me is Forde for the last couple of weeks, he just never seemed to have the end product earlier in the season. I love it when players prove me wrong ....... I must also add in that Rodaks performance yesterday was very impressive, again earlier on in the year he looked a long way behind o donnell but seems to be finding his feet. Some of those saves he made coming off his line were impressive and kept us in the game.
